In recent years, the hate for banking jobs has gone up significantly. People who don't even have job security are sometimes scared of getting into a banking job. Some would rather remain unemployed than join a bank. Choices may vary. Arguments may differ. Everyone has their own reasons. But somewhere, it is sad for our financial system. The reality is that once you are well prepared for RBI Gr B, once you have covered the static portion and descriptive preparation cohesively, you don't need to spend 8–10 hours every day revising everything from scratch. A few focused hours of revision, QR practice and current affairs can be enough. If your foundation is strong, 3–4 hours of focused daily preparation can be good enough. And there is something aspirants often forget. A large proportion of candidates who make it to RBI come from working profiles and a huge number of them come from banking jobs. Yes, toxicity has increased. Yes, the work culture in many banks can be demanding. Yes, the workload can sometimes leave you mentally and physically exhausted. But it has not stolen your ability or your opportunity to clear RBI Grade B joining a bank. Every year, we see candidates coming from banking jobs and eventually making it to RBI. In fact, RBI itself seems to recognise the importance of understanding banking from the ground level. After completing their initial training in Chennai, the new RBI Grade B officers are being sent to various PSBs for another 3 months where they are to told to observe how banks actually function. They are not necessarily there to perform the routine work of a bank employee. They are there to sit, observe, understand and analyse the activities happening inside a branch and, in the process, understand our financial system from the ground level. And there is a very clear message behind this. How do you understand the job of a regulator if you are not familiar with how the entities you regulate actually function at their core? So, if you are an aspirant and a banking job is one of the career options you are considering, don't reject it purely because of the negative perception surrounding it. If the overall logic, career goals and circumstances make sense for you, a banking job can still be a very reasonable choice even if your ultimate goal is RBI. You don't have to romanticise banking. You don't have to ignore its problems. Just make the decision with a clear understanding of what you are choosing and why. Don't let someone else's experience make your career decision for you. Choose wisely.

There are many more women in our community who are still fighting. Women who are 32+, women who are married, women who have jobs and families, women who have failed multiple times and yet, somehow, they have not stopped dreaming. Maybe that dream will eventually come in the form of a result. Maybe it won't. But at We Learn Here, we truly acknowledge the effort. Because sometimes, the impact of a journey is much larger than the result itself. The impression these women leave on the people coming after them, the courage they give to someone who is struggling today, the hope and moral strength they put into the hearts of others that is something that cannot be measured by a rank or a selection list. There are many other women, sisters and daughters quietly fighting their own battles. WLH respects your determination. WLH respects your courage. And WLH respects your decision to keep going. May life bless you all.

Women and their unshakable belief system. The preparation for RBI teaches us so many things resilience, the will to fight, sheer determination, strong aspiration and above all, a kind of discipline that is difficult to explain to someone who has never gone through it. And the failures can break you in ways that people rarely see. You sacrifice weekends, leaves, friendships, relationships, family time, small joys and sometimes even your peace of mind. You keep preparing while life around you keeps moving. And those who still choose to stand their ground, after everything are the real flagbearers of this journey. Today's post is dedicated to some such women, women who put almost everything at stake, yet continued to carry that little hope and aspiration of achieving something they deeply wanted in their lives. 1. Priyanka Khatwani: Married for 5 years, employed in a bank and having attempted more than 50 exams, Priyanka kept grinding. She saw failure after failure, but somehow never allowed those failures to convince her that the dream was not meant for her. She could have easily settled into a comfortable life. She could have told herself that she had already done enough. But she didn't and in 2025, after all those attempts and failures, she cleared NPS Grade B when there were fewer than three seats in total. Sometimes, the number of attempts tells you more about a person's character than the final result ever can. 2. Kumari Deeksha: Deeksha completed her graduation and master's through IGNOU, choosing a different path so that she could dedicate herself to her larger goal of getting into RBI. She made almost every decision with tremendous precision. It took her 4 attempts to finally clear RBI, at the age of 27. But what happened in those four attempts is what makes her journey special. She saw failures. She lived through pain. She spent years preparing largely on her own. She never got to experience the kind of college life that many of us take for granted, going out, meeting people, enjoying those years without constantly thinking about an exam. Yet she kept her morale high. Her journey showed what determination and hard work can eventually make possible. 3. Himanshi Tulsiani: Coming from an engineering background, Himanshi saw her own share of ups and downs. She switched between multiple bank jobs, trying to find some stability and comfort that would allow her to continue pursuing her dream. And then came health concerns during her preparation, the kind of issues that can be enough to tear a person down completely. She wrote two consecutive Mains and failed to make it to the final list both times. At 28, after multiple failures and health struggles, she still chose to continue. There is something very powerful about continuing when you don't know whether things will eventually work in your favour. No guarantee. No certainty. Just the belief that maybe this time. And in 2026, her hard work finally paid off. Today, she has every reason to celebrate. 4. Ranjini: Imagine working in a bank, being married and crossing the age of 31 while preparing for an exam like RBI Grade B. At some point, many of us would probably say, “Maybe it wasn't meant for me.” Or, “Maybe what I already have is good enough.” And there is nothing wrong with choosing comfort. But Ranjini chose the other way. She compromised on almost everything, but not on her preparation. She continued despite the age, despite the responsibilities, despite the days when motivation starts slipping away and your energy doesn't support you the way it once did. There comes a point in life when you start becoming philosophical about your choices. You start asking yourself whether all this suffering is really worth it. She chose to keep going. And in 2026, she made it to the final list.

Hello everyone, Good morning and happy Sunday! Finally, October has arrived with its own beauty, charm and some good vibes. Many of you are currently preparing for upcoming exams like PFRDA, NABARD and various other banking and insurance exams. Keep yourself going. We are all part of the same cycle as aspirants and aspirations never really die. So, this is how we are going to begin our RBI preparation from November: 1) ESI Static: We will start with ESI Static. The approach will be simple - read the chapters properly and then write descriptive answers based on what you have studied. Share your answers in the group so that you keep building the habit of writing from the very beginning. 2) Prelims Foundation - Alongside this, we will start with clerical-level pre mocks to build a strong foundation and confidence. Gradually, we will increase the difficulty and take you towards SBI PO Mains-level questions. This entire process will continue for around 3–4 months, so be prepared to stay consistent. 3) Finance, Management & Other Phase 2 Areas - Once we have covered ESI properly, we will move towards Finance and Management, followed by Schemes and other important areas relevant for Phase 2. By the end of February, we should be in a very comfortable position. Even if you are a complete beginner and are starting your preparation for the first time, you can cover all these targets by simply giving 3–4 hours every day. If you stay consistent, you can build a very strong foundation for RBI Grade B 2027. Use your time wisely. Focus on the exams that are closest to you right now, and keep moving forward with us at your own pace. We will meet on 24th October for the Private Group Screening Test. Until then, keep studying and keep going. :) To know everything about the screening test: https://t.me/we_learn_here/10464
