Our vibrant leaders, EHPSA Arsi Mental Health Directorate, coordinated this fruitful event in collaboration with Arsi University. ⚡️Ass. Professor Habtamu (Counseling Pychologist) provided training on stress management and coping mechanisms during study years. Today was just the beginning.✨ 🎯Action plans were put in place to form strong support groups under the EHPSA Mental Health and Public Health community team with the guidance of Mental Health Directorate. #Update ✨EHPSA ARSI, (Education Directorate) and Arsi University, has successfully conducted an orientation program for freshman students on Departments. 📌Our leaders at EHPSA ARSI have provided a comprehensive presentation, inspiring the new students with detailed insights into all seven health sciences departments. 🎯Dr. Teshome delivered an informative session on the entrance examination process and the selection criteria. 📌For this academic year, Arsi University's College of Health Sciences (COHS) has adjusted its intake capacity as follows: - Medicine: 60 students - Pharmacy: 20 students - Anesthesia: 20 students - Medical Laboratory, Nursing, Midwifery, and Public Health (PH): 40 students each 📌Additionally, the selection criteria will be based on the following: - 10%: University Entrance Examination score - 40%: Department Entrance Examination score - 50%: First Semester GPA =>Arsi University is also excited to announce the launch of a new department at the Agriculture Campus: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Furthermore, entrance examinations for Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), and Information Systems (IS) have been also conducted for interested students.
