Lately I’ve been sitting with the sensation that time is no longer behaving as it once did. Not just that it feels faster, although it certainly does, but that at certain moments it seems to vanish entirely! As if I step outside of it, or it slips through my fingers before I even notice it was there.
Days blur, memories stretch and compress, and sometimes it feels as though I am drifting between versions of reality, uncertain which one I have landed in.
I’ve asked myself, is this what it feels like to lose the mind? Or is it, in fact, the mind finally loosening its grip on a false framework it was never meant to hold onto?
They say time is not linear, that it is a human invention layered over a deeper, more complex unfolding. That there is only the now, and that all else — past and future alike — is a kind of mirage, or a spiral of perception we’ve mistaken for a straight road. And yet we live our lives so utterly bound by clocks, schedules, and narratives of cause and effect that to even question this structure feels like heresy.
But something is shifting. Many of us are sensing it. Not just personally, but collectively. Time seems thinner, more fluid, almost unstable at times. People speak of timeline jumps, of Mandela effects, of events remembered one way, now remembered differently, or not at all. Some call it a glitch, some call it ascension, some believe we are moving through converging realities like stations on a dial, and that our frequency determines the channel we land on.
What if time, as we’ve been taught to understand it, is part of the same artificial matrix that has bound our minds in falsehoods for generations? What if it was never real in the way we thought it was? What if our awakening is not just political or spiritual, but temporal? A breaking of time itself as a means of control?
Maybe we are beginning to perceive time more as it truly is — nonlinear, sacred, responsive. Maybe this disorientation is not dysfunction, but recalibration. Maybe we are not lost, but becoming untethered from the lie.
I don’t have the answers. I’m not sure anyone does. But I feel it — deep in the bones, in the quiet in-between moments, in the way a day can vanish or stretch or double back on itself like a dream remembered twice.
Something is happening with time. And I no longer believe it is just me feeling it…
