Today, I highly recommend checking out (or even just listening to) the interview between Rick Rubin and Cold Bennett. They dive deep into topics like their approach to work, stress, love, fear, and the essence of art:

Hello all!
My name is Mykyta and I am an editor. I have worked in this position last six years and in my portfolio collected a lot of cool projects. And finally, I am ready to share: “how I edit this”. I love to speak about editing techniques, workflow insides, motivation, plugins and software with you!
Important, it's a not masterclasses and I am not a teacher and something like this. It's just my platform where I share my experience from projects that I did and plan to do in the future! Also I don’t aim to constantly release new guides or make this my primary focus. This is just an extended supplement to the projects I share on my social media.
Followers of my patron can choose to follow on two directions. The first one is editing inside Primer Pro. Where I introduce you to how and why I cut my projects in this way. The second one it's an additional thing that is important in my job: playback editing, editing presentations, and animatic cuts. Everything about the pre-production and production stages before the editing stage.
* Of course you can combine and buy both of them!

I’ve shared a detailed editing breakdown of my latest video edit at the link below.
In this breakdown, I explain the reasoning behind my editing choices, the principles I followed, and some of the decisions we made during the editing session that weren’t initially planned.
The link is completely free and accessible to everyone.
I’d be happy to hear any questions or feedback you have!
