In this post, I break down my experience working on the Alfa Bank project, covering the editing process from initial preparation to final delivery. Brought in just two days before the shoot, I had limited pre-production involvement and received footage from two cameras (35mm and 16mm) after filming. I was largely responsible for the editing decisions due to the director’s busy schedule, though we selected key shots together.
I share insights into how I organized the footage, developed an editing mood-board in Photoshop, and refined the cuts to meet both creative and client needs. You’ll see how the project evolved from a draft version to the final cut, including the integration of sound design and extended footage to meet campaign requirements. This post highlights the practical tools and techniques I used to manage a complex edit under tight deadlines, offering tips on structuring your workflow with a virtual editing-board for smoother production.
