Allah says in surah al-Nahl [16]: [ وَقَالَ اللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا إِلَٰهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ فَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ ‎*‏ وَلَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الدِّينُ وَاصِبًا] And Allah said: Do not take two deities. He is only one god. So fear Me alone. * And everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and He deserves ongoing worship. [51-52] At the outset of his commentary on these ayaat, al-haafidh ibn Kathir wrote: [يقرر تعالى أنه لا إله إلا هو ، وأنه لا ينبغي العبادة إلا له وحده لا شريك له ، فإنه مالك كل شيء وخالقه وربه ] Allah is affirming that there is no deity worthy of worship besides Him, and that worship should not be directed to anyone besides Him alone without any partners, for He is the owner, creator and master of everything. [Tafsir ibn Kathir 4/577]

Removing Facial Hair for a Woman Q: What is the ruling on removing the facial hair for women? A: The issue has some clarifications; if it is normal facial hair, it is not permissible to remove it according to the Hadith, "Allah's Messenger invoked Allah's Curse on women who practice Nams (removing hair from the eyebrows) and those for whom Nams is made..." Nams is to remove the hair of the face and the eyebrows. If there is extra facial hair that makes woman look ugly such as excessive hair below her nose or on her cheeks, there is nothing wrong with removing it, because it makes her face look unattractive. It is not included in the forbidden Nams.

Bishr bin as-Sirri [may Allāh have mercy on him] said: “Certainly, each verse [of the Qur’ān] is like a date, the more you chew it, [the more] its sweetness is released.”  Al-Burhān fee ‘Ulūm al-Qur’ān | Badr ud-Deen Zarkashi [may Allāh have mercy on him] 📌

🔵 “We inspired the mother of Musa: Nurse him, but when you fear for him, put him then into the river, and do not fear or grieve. We will certainly return him to you, and make him one of the messengers.” [Surah Al-Qasas 28: 7] . 🍂To save her baby boy from Fir’aun, the mother of Prophet Musa ‘alayhis-salaam placed him in a covered box, put it in the river, and eventually the box flowed further and further away. . 🍂But out of all the locations where the box could stop and land, it headed towards the worst possible location - and that was the palace of Fir’aun, the one place where she tried to protect him from! . 🍂Brothers and sisters, sometimes the worst thing that ever happened may turn out to be the best thing that will ever happen to you. It will bring about the best part of your life. 🍂And we often don’t realise this - sometimes we will only realise this after so many years have passed. •• There is a dua if you were to recite it, Allah will ACCEPT it. In a beautiful hadith collected by al-Tirmidhi (3505), the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The prayer of Dhul-Noon (Yunus) which he said when he was in the belly of the whale: لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn ‘None has the right to be worshipped but You, Glorified (and Exalted) be You! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.’ No Muslim recites this Dua concerning any matter, but Allah will answer him.” What a powerful dua! I am sure you noticed the sentence: “No Muslim recites this Dua concerning any matter, but Allah will answer him.” 🌻
