Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"With the remembrance of Allah the servant overpowers the Shaytan, just as the Shaytan overpowers the people of heedlessness and forgetfulness."

| 2 | لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Duʿāʾ of Yunus
Al-Tabari : this is from the greatest expression of tawhīd (pure monotheism) in a moment of distress.
Ibn Kathir mentions Yunus عليه السلام combined praise of Allah with admission of his own fault, and this was the key reason for his relief.
Scholars also mention this is كلمة الفرج (words of relief) and whoever supplicates with them sincerely will be answered. | 10 |
| 3 | وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ
"And if He intends for you any good, then none can repel His bounty."
يُصِيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
He bestows it upon whom He wills of His servants, and He is the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. | 11 |
| 4 |  When you find an individual in this dunya who reminds you of Allah, increases your zeal in worship, motivates you to refine your character, and increases your emaan just by being around - then hold onto them with your molar teeth, for والله they are more valuable than mountains of gold.
How would you handle a rare treasure that has been entrusted to you?
You would hold it gently, trying your utmost best not to scratch it.
You would choose to store it in the best and most safest place, whilst also checking on it regularly to make sure it's still okay.
You would admire it and make dua for Allah to protect it and place barakah within it.
So likewise, make dua for that believer, treat them as best as you can, check up on them regularly, appreciate them and thank Allah for the blessing of placing them in your life. 🤍 | 8 |
| 5 | No one lives without sacrifice. The real question is for whom will you tire out? Ibn al-Qayyim said:
من رغب عن التعب لله؛
ابتُلي بالتعب في خدمة الخلق ولا بدّ
"Whoever does not tire himself for the sake of Allāh will undoubtedly be tried with fatigue in the service of (others in) creation."

عن بريدة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "لا تقولوا للمنافق سيد، فإنه إن يكن سيدًا، فقد أسخطتم ربكم عز وجل". ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح))
Buraidah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not address a hypocrite with the title of chief, (or similar titles of respect) for even if he deserves this title you will invite Allah's Wrath by using it for him."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي أَمْلأْ صَدْرَكَ غِنًى وَأَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ وَإِلاَّ تَفْعَلْ مَلأْتُ يَدَيْكَ شُغْلاً وَلَمْ أَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ " .
قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيُّ اسْمُهُ هُرْمُزُ .
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said:
"Indeed Allah, Most High said: 'O son of Adam! Devote yourself to My worship, I will fill your chest with riches and alleviate your poverty. And if you do not do so, then I will fill your hands with problems and not alleviate your poverty.'"

| 8 |  لم تَصفُ الدُّنيا للأنبياء؛ فكيف تُريدها أن تصفوَ لك؟ (طُبِعَتْ على كَدَرٍ وأنت تريدها*صفوًا من الأقذاءِ والأكدارِ/ومكلِّفُ الأيَّامِ ضدَّ طباعها*متطلِّبٌ في الماءِ جَذوةَ نارِ)
The world was not free of hardship for the prophets; so how can you expect it to be for you?
“It was disposed with hardship yet you want it..
Free from troubles and hardships,
Whoever demands of life what defies its nature..
Is like seeking a flame of fire in the depths of water.”

And there are women who tear what is already stitched. Modesty doesn't require wealth; rather, it requires a proper upbringing and good morals." | 42 |
| 10 |  الصَّبر في انتظار الفرج عبادةٌ؛
فإنَّ الله كريم العطاء،
وإنَّ الشِّدَّة إلى انتهاء،
فلا تستطيلوا البلاء،
ولا تتركوا الدُّعاء،
قال الله تعالى:
(سَيَجْعَلُ اللهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا)
Patience in waiting for relief is a form of worship;
for Allah is generous in His giving,
and hardship is bound to end,
so do not consider the affliction seem prolonged,
and do not abandon Dua’,
Allah has said: “Allah will bring about ease after hardship.”

| 12 | The Greatest Miracle for you, Oh Muslim
🖋Sheikh of Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله تعالى said:
The greatest miracle is consistency upon righteousness and uprightness.

| 13 | Prophet ﷺ said,
“In Paradise there is a street to which they would come every Friday.
The north wind will blow and would scatter fragrance on their faces and on their clothes and would add to their beauty and loveliness.
Then they would go back to their family after having an added lustre to their beauty and loveliness, and their family would say to them:
By Allah, you have been increased in beauty and loveliness after leaving us, and they would say: By Allah, you have also increased in beauty and loveliness after us.”

وهكذا إذا رأيت من نفسك أَنَّكَ كُلَّما تَلَوْتَ القرآن ازددت إيمانًا؛ فإنَّ هذا من علامات التوفيق.
"Thus, if you notice that every time you recite the Quran, your Imaan increases, then this is a sign of guidance." | 44 |

الفتن إن اشتدت كالبحر تتحير العقول عن أسباب النجاة وأعظمها دعاء الله قال حذيفة ليأتين على الناس زمان لا ينجو فيه إلا من دعا كدعاء الغريق...
When tribulations intensify, they are like an ocean; the minds become confused concerning the means of survival, and the greatest of them is du'a. Hudhayfah said,
"A time will come for the people wherein none will survive except he who prays like the du'a of one drowning." | 45 |

| 17 | " Hidden Sins, Lost Deeds
Guard Yourself in Private "
It was narrated from Thawban (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“I certainly know people of my nation who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the mountains of Tihamah, but Allah will make them like scattered dust.”
Thawban said: “O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us and tell us more, so that we will not become of them unknowingly.”
He ﷺ said: “They are your brothers and from your race, worshipping at night as you do, but they will be people who,when they are alone, transgress the sacred limits of Allah.”

| 18 |  يُرجى بصلاح الآباء والأمهات أن يُنعم الله عليهم بصلاح أولادهم من الأبناء والبنات، فأصلحوا أنفسكم متقرِّبين إلى الله، متعبِّدين له إخلاصًا واتِّباعًا؛ يُصلحِ الله لكم أولادكم، ويكونوا ذريَّةً طيِّبةً من بعدكم.
It is hoped, through the righteousness of fathers and mothers, that Allah will bless them with the righteousness of their sons and daughters. So rectify yourselves, drawing near to Allah and worshipping Him with sincerity and adherence; Allah will rectify your children for you, and they will be a righteous progeny after you.
