The 'Umskiptar' album is also a return-to-the-roots album for me, with a strong focus on atmosphere and wholeness rather than anything else. The vocals on this one however are more important than on any other album, with a total of 66 stanzas, some of them even repeated a few times, making up the lyrics of the album. The vocals are very important for the special atmosphere and are more important than on any other Burzum album, and more varied too and as honest as it gets. The concept of the album is 'Umskiptar' (English = 'Metamorphoses'), a deeply rooted European (i.e. Pagan) Stoic concept of changes. This concept was chosen in a world heading for a new Ice Age, and can therefore also be seen as critique of all the popular political movements of our age of lies. - Varg Vikernes

Album: Wotan Stands For Victory (2002) Band: Warcry (Spain) Genre: Pagan Black Metal Discogs Metal Archives [192 kbps] Underground masterpiece from Spain. Warcry is a band with a "crispy" sounding guitar as the best kind of black metal, for heads who likes Abyssic Hate, early Bilskirnir and Xenophobia (USA). Unfortunally this is the only release from the band. R.I.P. Wulfen (1980 - 2011) My fav track is the third one ~D. Hvite Musik Station

Album: Muinainen (2015) Bands: Kalmankantaja (Finland) Genre: Atmospheric / DSBM Discogs Metal Archives [Strongly recommended] Seventh full length of the band (between more or less 30 releases, counting with demos, EPs, etc.). If you never listened this band before, this band is similar with Burzum, Sieghetnar and I Shalt Become vibes, but with enough identity to make their ambience quite unique. So if you like hypnotic slow and crispy sounding, this band is for you. If you already heard this band before, principally the first albums (as the first and the third, already uploaded before in this channel), some changes between these albums and this one consists in a much better production and increased minimalism. I plan in any moment create a side-channel to upload their entire discography, as i'm doing with Burzum ~D. Hvite Musik Station

Highly recommended for fans of melancholic riffs, this album presents slow and fast rhythms and some guitar solos. You can listen the whole album without skipping a boring track. Album: Day / Nightly Kingdoms (2013) Bands: Bilskirnir (Germany) and Marblebog (Hungary) Genre: Black Metal Discogs Metal Archives This split contains rare covers from these bands. I strongly recommend you to listen the Bilskirnir version of Day (Katatonia) if you like melancholic songs, or if you liked 'Wotan Redivivus'. Track 2 is a cover from the greek band Varathron, recommended for those who likes early Satyricon, Inquisition and raw black metal. The differences between the previous album was mostly the add of acoustic guitar in some tracks, making it even more sorrowful and melancholic.
