O Parents! Be Righteous!
Tafseer al-Baghawi (rahimahullah):
Abdullah ibn Mas’ood (radiyAllahu ‘anhu), used to pray at night and would see his small child sleeping then he would say, “this is for your bright future” and whilst crying would recite:
وَكَانَ أَبُوهُمَا صَالِحًا
“And their father was righteous” Surat al-Kahf, 82
lbn Abbās (radiyAllahu ’anhu) said (commenting on this verse):
“They (the two orphans) were protected by the righteousness of their father.”
Saeed lbn Musayyib (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) said: “I worship, and then when I remember my child(ren), I increase in my worship"

Imam Ibnul-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah رحمه الله تعالى said:
“Du’ā is like a weapon, and a weapon is only as good as the person who is using it; it is not merely the matter of how sharp it is. If the weapon is perfect and free of faults, and the arm of the person using it is strong, and there is nothing stopping him, then he can lay waste the enemy. But if any of these three features is lacking, then the effect will be lacking accordingly.”

Amongst the most useful remedies is persistence in supplication. Ibn Majah1has collected a narration in his Sutiati on the authority of Abu Hurairah who said: “The Messenger ofAllah^ said: ‘Whoever does not ask Allah, He [Allah] becomes angry at him’”. Also, in the Sahih of al- Hakim2on the authority of Anas who narrated from the Prophet said: “Do not fail to supplicate, as it is certain that none shall be doomed with supplication.”

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Whoever says about a believer that which is not true, Allah will make him dwell in the puss/sweat of the people of Hellfire until he takes back what he said."
[Abu Dawud 3597 | Sahih]
Think before you speak ill about someone!

‘Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه said:
“It is more beloved to me to bite onto a red coal until it cools, than for me to say about something that Allah has preordained, ‘Only if it didn’t happen.‘“
[Az-Zuhd, of Aboo Daawood, p. 136]

Some of the Salaf رحمهم الله said:
“It has reached us that indeed the mansions of Jannah are built by Dhikr.
If one stops dhikr, the angels stop building the mansion.”
[Latāif Al-Mā’rif, page 59]

- Oh Allah, open for me the doors of goodness and ease, and prevent from me the doors of evil and difficulty. There is no power or strength for me except in You. I seek help from You, I seek refuge from You, and I am satisfied with You..🌿💚

Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:
“No affliction, grief, or tightness of the chest descend upon me, except from some shortcomings or sins that I know i did. _So let a person hold themselves accountable for their sins.”

قَــالَ الشَّــيخُ العلّامــة صَالِــح بنُ فَوزان الــفَوزَان - حَــفظهُ الله - :
وأما الذي يقول : أستغفرُ الله، بلسانه، وهو مقيمٌ على المعاصي بأفعاله، فهو كذابٌ لا ينفعُهُ الاستغفارُ، قال الفضيل بن عياض - رحمه الله - : استغفارٌ بِلاَ إقلاعٍ توبةُ الكذابينَ
Sh. Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān: “As for him saying ‘Astaghfirullāh’ with his tongue but persisting upon sins/disobedience with his actions, then he is a liar (and) his Istighfār will not benefit him,
as Fuḍayl b. ‘Iyāḍ said: ‘Seeking Allāh’s Forgiveness while not abandoning (sins) is the repentance of liars’.”

▪️Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said:
Raising voices above the voice of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is a reason for the failure of deeds.
So what about raising opinions... and the results of ideas based on his Sunnah and what he brought.

Sufyān Ath-Thawrī رحمه الله stated:
"Three matters are from patience:
▪️Don't speak about your pain.
▪️Don't speak about your calamity.
▪️Don't praise yourself."

#Martyrdom
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Martyrdom is seven things, besides being killed in the cause of Allah.
1. The one who dies of the plague is a martyr.
2. The one who drowns is a martyr.
3. The one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr.
4. The one who dies of a stomach ailment is a martyr.
5. The one who is burned to death is a martyr.
6. The one who dies beneath a collapsed building is a martyr and
7. The woman who dies in pregnancy is a martyr."
