Despite progress in education access, women in Cambodia continue to face systemic and structural barriers that limit their participation and career progression in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Under the study, this report draws on both quantitative and qualitative data that were identified:
βͺοΈ Key factors influencing women's participation in STEM fields
βͺοΈ Specific barriers faced during education and the transition to the workforce
βͺοΈ Challenges that persist even after women enter STEM careers
βͺοΈ Actionable recommendations to advance gender equality in STEM education and employment
π‘ Closing the gender gap in STEM is not only a matter of equity β it is essential for Cambodia's long-term economic competitiveness and inclusive growth.
