🇺🇸 Markets are preparing for Friday’s U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls. Economists expect roughly 56,000 new jobs, after July’s 23,000 decline.
📈 Markets currently price roughly a 62% probability of a 25-bps Fed rate hike this month. However, weaker-than-expected private employment data has increased the importance of tomorrow’s NFP report.
🧼 Brent is around $95/barrel, while WTI is near $90.6. Prices are slightly lower today, but renewed U.S.–Iran military strikes mean Middle East supply disruption remains a serious risk. | 242 |

🥇 The biggest headwind for Gold today is the sharp rise in global yields.
📈 Markets are increasingly preparing for higher interest rates, following Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's hawkish Jackson Hole message. Rising oil prices are adding to inflation concerns, making the rate outlook especially important for XAUUSD and USD.
🧼 Brent recently surged above $90/barrel after fresh U.S. attacks on Iranian targets and retaliation from Iran.
⛵️ Only around five commodity vessels were tracked through Hormuz on Monday versus a recent average of roughly 14 — and no liquid tankers were recorded.
🇺🇸 Today's major U.S. events include JOLTS Job Openings and ISM Manufacturing. With NFP coming later this week, employment data can significantly shift Fed expectations and create volatility in Gold and USD. | 296 |
