Whilst we waste time, someone else is achieving everything we claim we want to achieve We claim we want to memorise the Quran We claim we want to take our religion more seriously We claim we want to improve our health and fitness We claim we want to become more educated in a specific field We claim we want to begin xyz endeavour And yet our days are filled with garbage We spend our time more carelessly than we spend our money Which makes absolutely no sense because once you spend money, you can make it back but once you spend time… it’s gone Every second spent arguing with strangers online Every second spent watching Zionist brainrot Hollywood movies Every second spent on escapism These are the seconds where the version of ourselves we dream of becoming, slips between our fingers

Who Were the Four Maḥāmid? They were called the Four Maḥāmid because each of their names began with “Muḥammad”: 1. Imām Muḥammad ibn Jarīr at-Ṭabarī — the leading scholar of Qur’anic tafsīr and history. 2. Imām Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq ibn Khuzaymah — known as “the Imām of the Imāms.” 3. Imām Muḥammad ibn Naṣr al-Marwazī. 4. Imām Muḥammad ibn Hārūn ar-Rūyānī. The Story Around the year 256 AH, these four great scholars met in Egypt while seeking knowledge. Eventually, they ran out of money and food, and their hunger became so severe that they had nothing left with which to sustain themselves. The four scholars agreed to draw lots. Whoever was chosen would go out and ask people for food for his companions. The lot fell upon Imām Ibn Khuzaymah. He said to his companions: «“Give me some time so that I can pray the prayer of seeking guidance” — or, according to another wording, “two rakʿahs.”» He then began praying and humbly supplicating to Allah. While Ibn Khuzaymah was praying, there was suddenly a knock at the door. They opened it and found a eunuch, one of the servants of the governor of Egypt, Aḥmad ibn Ṭūlūn, who had come with candles and a servant carrying money. The messenger asked about each of the scholars by name and gave each of them a purse containing fifty gold dinars. He then told them that the governor of Egypt had seen a dream during his afternoon nap. In the dream, someone called out to him: «“The Maḥāmid are hungry! The four Maḥāmid in your land are hungry while you are sleeping!”» The governor awoke frightened and immediately ordered that the scholars be found, helped, and honoured.

The Cure for the Hardness of the Heart Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: Some people have hardness in their hearts, and their hearts are not soft. So you find that they do not have humility, and even if they are afflicted with the greatest calamities—We ask Allah for well-being—their hearts are hardened like stones, or even harder. From the causes of softening the heart is reciting the Noble Qur’an, for it softens the heart—if a person recites it with reflection and deep contemplation—due to the statement of Allah, the Most High: “Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah…” [Al-Hashr: 21]. This is a mountain of solid rock. And Ibn ʿAbd al-Qawī, may Allah have mercy upon him, said in his well-known Dāliyah: “And persist in studying the Qur’an, for indeed it softens a heart that is hardened like solid rock.” And from the causes of softening the heart is reading the prophetic biography of the one upon whom be the best of prayers and peace, for reading the biography has a tremendous effect upon the heart, because a person remembers, as if he is with the Companions, so his heart becomes soft. And from the causes of softening the heart is showing mercy to children and being gentle with them, for that softens the heart and has a profound effect. For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ said: “The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth, and the One above the heaven will have mercy upon you.” And from the causes of softening the heart is listening to admonitions and poems that bring the heart to life. For this reason, you find that when a man hears an impactful poem, his heart becomes humble and his eyes shed tears. And from the causes of softening the heart is the presence of the heart in the prayer, for that is from the causes of humility and softness of the heart. We ask Allah, the Most High, to soften our hearts for His remembrance and to protect us from the hardness of the heart. 📚Fatāwā Nūr ʿalā ad-Darb (12/19–20)

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah [رحمه الله] said: "If all the people criticise a man for marrying a woman who is a thief, adultress or she drinks alcohol etc, then it is obligatory that their criticism of marrying a woman who does not pray should be greater and greater and this is an agreement among the scholars. Indeed the woman who does not pray is more evil than a woman who is an adultress, a thief and a woman who drinks alcohol.❞ [Jamia Ar-Rasail, (4/142)]

Don't lose hope! Don't give up! Don't stop! Work hard and improve yourself! The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, and there is good in both." "المُؤمِنُ القَويُّ خَيرٌ وأحَبُّ إلى اللهِ مِنَ المُؤمِنِ الضَّعيفِ، وفي كُلٍّ خَيرٌ"

Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه said, Whoever amongst you worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, Allah is alive and will never die. Allah said: Muhammad is no more than a messenger other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die or to be killed would you regress into disbelief? Those who do so will not harm Allah whatsoever and Allah will reward those who are grateful. [3:144] [Bukhari 1241 & 1242]

Marriage is an amanah, not a place for harm. The Prophet ﷺ warned against hurting your spouse. A husband or wife should feel safe, respected, and valued at home. Choose patience over anger and mercy over harshness. Share this reminder with someone who needs it.

A reminder for every home 🕊️ A man once came to the door of Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA), intending to complain about his wife's sharp tongue. As he waited outside, he heard Umar's own wife speaking to him in the very same way — raising her voice, pushing back. And Umar (RA) stood there, silent, patient. The man turned to leave, thinking, "If this is how it is in the Ameer al-Mu'mineen's house, what am I complaining about in mine?" But Umar (RA) noticed him and asked what he'd come for. The man told him honestly. Umar (RA) replied: "I bear with her because of her rights over me. She cooks my food, bakes my bread, washes my clothes, and nurses my children — and my heart finds rest in that. So I overlook the rest." A home isn't built on perfection. It's built on patience, and remembering everything a person gives — even on the days it's hard to see it.

Shaykh Taqī ad-Dīn al-Hilālī, may Allāh have mercy upon him, said: “O caller (to the Qurʾān and Sunnah) give precedence to what Allāh wants, and Allāh will give precedence to what you want. There is no caller who calls to a matter with seriousness and sincerity except that he will obtain something, (some sort of recompense), whether he is upon truth or falsehood. However, the one upon falsehood will ultimately face loss, either in the immediate life or in the hereafter. And the one who is upon the truth will have the best outcome in both the immediate life and the hereafter. As for the foam it passes away as scum upon the banks, while that which is for the good of mankind remains in the earth.” Source: ad-Daʿwah ilā Allāh fī Aqṭār Mukhtalifah, p. 6

WHAT WEAKENS MARRIAGE                   1. MISBEHAVING: Saying bad or hateful things, making bad jokes and insulting each other.                         2. IGNORE Not replying back to the "salams" or giving each other the good ear to listen and share.                            3. LYING Allah forbids the believers to lie. There is no room in Islam for liars, and may Allah save us from this evil, ameen.                4. BREAKING PROMISES Keeping a trust is also an important characteristic of a believer.                  5. AVOIDING INTIMACY You hug the brothers at the mosque, but what about a "little hug" with your wife? Come on, you can do it.             6. SUSPICION & BACKBITING Allah says, "O believers, avoid much suspicion. Certainly suspicion is sinful. And don't spy or backbite each other. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of your dead brother. You would hate it. Fear Allah's punishment. For sure Allah is the Acceptor of repentance, The Merciful." [Quran 49: 12]                      7. TOO BUSY Take time for each other. You have rights on each other. Give everyone their rights and you will be given your rights.                    8. NOT PRAYING Allah will never be pleased with someone who leaves His guidance and does not worship Him. This will cause Muslim families serious problems and even to split up, faster than anything! May Allah protect you and give everything you want for your family. Please be just in your house. And Take care of them.                    They need it.❤️ May Allah ﷲﷻ make our families the coolness of our eyes Ameen. Put your trust in Allah In sha'Allah May Allah ﷲﷻ bless all our Marriages Ameen.

Struggle against your self : For if you increase in reciting the Quran, you will grow accustomed to it. And if you increase in fasting, you will grow accustomed to it. And if you increase in charity, you will grow accustomed to it. And if you increase in remembrance of Allah, you will grow accustomed to it. And if you seek knowledge, you will grow accustomed to it. And if you increase in praying at night, you will grow accustomed to it. And if you increase in supplication, you will grow accustomed to it. And conversely, whoever immerses himself in sins grows accustomed to them, and acts of obedience become heavy upon him.
