We are having a perfectly chill day today. I hope you are as well π
Since this is the twins last year of high school, I'm making every effort to provide some memorable events through our homeschool organization.
Yesterday high schoolers enjoyed cooling off on 17' water slide. I can inform you that standing about 15 feet away was not enough space to avoid being on the receiving end of HUGE splash those teen boys showing off love to generate.
My camera made it. I did, too.

First thing upon waking is to say 'Good morning' to God then to thank Him for being so loving. Proceed accordingly π

Father,
Iβve clenched my fists long enough.
Iβve white-knuckled my way through storms You never asked me to command. Iβve worn myself out trying to fix what only Your hands can heal. So today, I let go.
Not in defeat, but in surrender.
Not in weakness, but in warfare.
Because true strength is laying down the idol of control and lifting up the name that never fails.
God, I confess Iβve tried to play Savior in a world that already has one. Iβve micromanaged my mess and called it responsibility. Iβve confused anxiety with planning and fear with wisdom. I donβt need to approve Your will. I just need to trust it.
So wreck my pride if You have to. Tear down the scaffolding Iβve built around my fears. Reroute my plans, ruin my comfort, and realign my steps until they match Your pace, Your path, Your purpose.
I donβt want safe. I want sanctified.
I donβt want predictable. I want powerful.
And I donβt want control. I want Christ.
Jesus, be the only one at the wheel. Let my hands fall empty while Your Spirit takes over. When I let go, You lift me up. When I stop trying, You start moving. And when I die to self, resurrection power shows up.
Break me open if You must, but donβt let me walk another step pretending Iβm in charge.
I trust You.
I surrender.
And I refuse to take back the reins.
In the name of the One who holds the universe.

You may not yet be where you want to be,
But trust that you are on your way.
If the dream of coffee is to become the center of gathering,
May it never forsake the days it was a lowly plant in the rainforest.
Or the days it was shipped overseas, never truly knowing when or where it will arrive.
Or the day it was taken apart, crushed, burned, and refined.
While the process might be painful,
The process is also beautiful.
It can be hard to imagine that a plant in the ground one day becomes a latte you drink during a conversation.
But we have seen it.
Just imagine what He is now working on in you.
It may be the harvesting.
Or the pruning.
The crushing.
The burning.
The hurting.
The testing.
But to be the clay in His hands is never a waste.
He doesnβt leave projects unfinished.
He is faithful to complete the good work He started from before eternity.
Just as you donβt look the same as you did when He knit you in the womb,
So you wonβt look the same when His glory is fully revealed in you.
Trust the process.
Not because He is on the other side of it waiting for you to hurry up.
But because His hands are in it every step of the way.
He is good, and He can be trusted.
And you are on your way and will be completed.

I want to share one entitled βTrust the Process.β It is a great reminder of how God grows and refines us in our trials as we trust in His good plans for our lives."
