Crypto Cycles May 18, 2024 In each crypto cycle, there's always hype from which people can profit. Whether it's good or bad depends on the observer's perspective. 2013 was the first cycle, the era of Bitcoin and a few clone coins. It also birthed the first meme coin, Dogecoin. The next cycle, between late 2015 and early 2018, saw the rise of smart contracts and ICOs. 2019-2021 was the era of Non-EVM chains, DeFi, and NFTs, with NFTs garnering significant attention. The 2023-2024 or till 2025 cycle is the age of L2 and meme coins. Based on Dune data, over 1 million meme tokens were created on various blockchains. I wonder what the next cycle's hype will be. Could it be interoperable loyalty rewards or NFTs representing real-world assets, bringing about a second NFTs frenzy? Or maybe L3. There's always something in every cycle.

A Lifetime Is Long We often hear the saying "life is short; have fun" and such. We love to say it too because it sounds cool, but we may not understand it. Some people may be okay or even joyful with the notion of a short life, while others may be scared. Regardless, a lifetime is the longest thing a person has in their life. They can go to school for 15 years, work at a few jobs, and travel to many countries for 20 to 30 years, but that still isn't a lifetime. A lifetime is only a lifetime when there is no more life to live. That could be 10 years or 100 years for a person. It is the only longest thing we have to bear with. So, live well—not just having fun.

A life changing book is not a book you read, but a book you write. I'm so proud to be one of the witnesses for @seavphovjivet_official came to existence. Since its inception, many authors have been helped to publish their books, which undoubtedly have changed the course of their lives for the better. I hope many more lives will change through the process.

My creativity often flourishes during chaotic periods. While this energy inspires me, it also rapidly drains me. I thrive in chaotic environments, but I need to escape to nature or engage in activities like cycling to replenish my energy. When cycling, I prefer hilly terrain over flat roads. The challenging uphill climb is rewarded by the exhilarating free ride back down. Maintaining the momentum from the top makes it easier to conquer the next hill, especially if the hills are connected by a smooth road and are not too far or too close together. Lately, my recharge periods have been infrequent and insufficient, leaving me feeling depleted. I need to find ways to recharge more effectively in the near future.

In any universe, I am in I could only be led to where I am, not where I wish I could be. Looking over the last 10 years, since the inception of smallworld, I could either say we have made countless mistakes, thus I led me to where I am today. Or I could say I have gained so many life experiences that led to where I am today and preparing me to the inevitable future.
