Repost from Al-Asmāʾ Waṣ-Ṣifāt
As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuhu.
Bi-idhnillāh Taʿālā, we will now be focusing on one Name of Allāh/Attribute each week.
In addition to the usual general reminders and posts about the Names and Attributes of Allāh, we will dedicate each week to one particular Name — sharing materials related to it. These may include:
• Qurʾān verses
• Explanations from the scholars
• Lectures
• Other beneficial contents connected to that Name, in shāʾ Allāh.
The Name for this week is: Ar-Raqīb
From today until Thursday, we will be posting whatever materials we are able to gather related to this Name — for us to reflect and strive to implement, bi-idhnillāh.

A heartwarming, beautifully comforting passage from Imām Ibn Uthaymīn on a wonderful hadīth.
A gem and a proof of the vast Mercy and Justice of Allāh.
Never does He take except he gives that which is better!
May Allāh make it easy for all who have lost children & reward them!

The best way to ask Allah is by making general requests. For they encompass more and you’re not limiting or not accounting for anything.
Allah is the One Able to do All Things and it is He Who Responds when you call.
Ibn ‘Uthaymīn rahimahullāh

When someone asks you, give them what you have. That’s how the Prophet ﷺ was. He would give until he had nothing left.

Some verses and ahadith show us that good deeds will grant us paradise. But the Prophet ﷺ told us that nobody will enter paradise by their deeds, only by His Mercy.
So how can we understand that?
