An inspirational story of an Aspirant Hello Friends My name is Akash Nathyal. I am sharing my journey for all those aspirants who missed the selection by few marks or even decimals and are feeling disheartened. This is not the end of the world. We all fail multiple times, and these failures are the stepping stones that lead to success. 10th 96.2% (2015) 12th 88.2% (2017) B.Sc. Non Medical 81.6% (2020) I began my preparation in 12th class for armed forces. Qualified NDA 4 times, but failed in SSBs. Simultaneously, I did my graduation and started giving CDS and AFCAT exams. Cleared all exams every time, but failed in every SSB. This is my journey from 2016-2024. Every failure gave a heartbreak. Every time it felt like it is the end of the world. I qualified few jkssb exams, but they got scrapped. Those days felt like the worst days. But life has other plans. God has other plans. To every selection, there are 2 aspects, Hardwork and Luck. Keep your hardwork constant, and you just need to get Lucky once. But remember, Luck only favours the hardworking, so don't stop. "God doesn't give the hardest battles to His toughest soldiers, He creates the toughest soldiers out of life's hardest battles." As far as strategy for JKSSB is concerned, I will summarise in few points. 1) Keep limited resources- Don't buy multiple books, it will only increase pressure. Specifically for GK, buy any book from renowned publication like arihant, and cover the static components like history, geography, polity etc from there. The content given in Arihant GK is enough for jkssb and ssc exams. Avoid buying separate books for each subject, it will consume more time and the benefit will be little. 2) Current Affairs- You must dedicate 1 hour everyday to current affairs, neither more nor less. You have to make a habit of reading newspaper. If you can't read newspaper due to any reason, choose any youtube channel and start watching a current affairs and news analysis video everyday without a miss. This will build your understanding about what is going on in the world. And Just 1 month before the exam, buy an yearly current affairs magazine (like speedy publications). It contains all the possible questions and one liners that can be asked in the form of MCQs. 3. Make small notes of the youtube videos you watch for exam specific components. For example, I watched Lateef Sir's accountancy lectures from PAA and FAA playlists, and made short notes in about 40-50 pages. For Maths and Statistics component, I watched Malik Tutorial videos and prepared notes in 30-40 pages. Short notes help a lot in revision during the end days. 4. Select one youtube channel for a component and stick to it. Trust the teacher and don't study the same subject from multiple channels. Revise all components multiple times. 5. Save time- Watch youtube videos at 1.5x to 2.0x. Save as much time as possible. Don't spend too much time on a single component as you have to cover all components. 6. Last but not the least, have faith in yourself. Have faith in God.

We are going to start the sectional tests for upcoming exams Most Topics of upcoming exams are common.As already discussed by tawqeer sir,Reasoning,computer ,Maths and English are going to be the deciding factors.Also Jkssb has recently changed the nature of questions.From Factual to Conceptual,it is the race against time now. Today will be The first sectional test of General intelligence and Reasoning portion with a total of 20 questions. Reasoning is a part of every upcoming exam ,be it si, inspector,patwari, supervisor.So Expecting mass participation . Test will be held using Google form, Make sure you login to your chrome browser with Google account/email id.
