| 3 | We were just there in Concord yesterday and left because we felt uncomfortable! The roads are the worst I've ever seen yet in our travels in this Silicon Valley area of California! The corrupt democrats have clearly been letting California go to shit. They clearly brought in millions of illegals who are used to living in shitty conditions who won't complain and to drown out anyone who does complain.
The main highway too was hilarious and so stupid. They have lights stopping people at almost every on ramp before they enter onto the highway instead of just normal merging lanes. I'm sure the traffic light contractor was giving kickbacks to someone in charge. π€¦ββππ€¦ββ
They also have an area where they lowered the speed limit to 55mph but have one fast lane that you can go 65mph on that reads your license plate and send you a bill every month for using it. Talk about corruption and the funny part is people were actually paying to be on that lane and at the end of the lane when it merges back into the highway they were all stopped because it caused a slow down as they were all trying to merge. Then the rest of the highway speed was put back to 65mph. π€¦ββππ€¦ββ
Imagine the millions of dollars made from these stupid tolls plus the highest gas prices paid in the country, which by the way, those gas taxes are supposed to be used to maintain all the roads. Not just the highways. That's literally what gas taxes are for, yet they have the worst roads in the country especially in the small communities downtown cores and residential areas. They look like they haven't been paved in 40 years. π€¦ββππ€¦ββ
They are so extreme in their green ideology that they have no rest areas for travelers or truckers within the valley, but they have park & ride parking lots everywhere. Many of them are mostly empty and they purposely make them so big rigs can't park in them without taking up multiple spots. Then police are even monitoring them. Really your police are so bored they have to monitor park & ride lots and people think this is a good use of resources! π€¦ββππ€¦ββ
It's such a shame to see such a beautiful area turned into a complete shithole! The people need to get rid of these corrupt lunatics running their government and services here. π€¦ββπ«£π³πππ | 33 |

| 6 |  +2A Sheriff's K-9 is recovering after getting stabbed in the face by a violent suspect in Escondido.
On Saturday, September 5, just before 12:30 a.m., a Sheriff's K-9 Unit team was requested by Escondido Police to assist with a burglary in-progress at a business in the 100 block of South Orange Street.
The suspect, later identified as Eric Rodriguez (DOB: 10/09/1990) was wielding a large stick, throwing objects and threatening Escondido Police Officers at the scene.Β
Rodriguez refused to comply with multiple police dog warning commands while wielding a weapon and actively engaging in a felony crime.
Sheriff's K-9 Nike, a six-year-old Belgian Malinois, was deployed in an effort to arrest Rodriguez. During the incident, Nike was stabbed several times in the face by Rodriguez. Escondido Police Officers and Sheriff's Deputies quickly restrained Rodriguez and took him into custody.
Nike was rushed by his Sheriff's Deputy Handler to Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) of North County in San Marcos for emergency treatment. The veterinary staff found Nike had five lacerations on his face and two puncture wounds. He needed about ten stitches.
Thankfully, Nike was released from the veterinary care centerΒ early this morning. He's a tough pup with a passion for his work. Nike, who has been a Sheriff's K-9 for almost two years, is now healing at home with his deputy handler. We are hopeful Nike will make a full recovery.
SD Sheriff is grateful for the quick work of Sheriff's Deputies and Escondido Police Officers, as well as the team at Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) of North County, in getting Nike the emergency care he needed.
Rodriguez was booked into the Vista Detention Facility on numerous charges, including injuring a working dog, resisting arrest, second degree burglary and property vandalism.
