By the way, once you narrow down these language differences, Christ's ethics concerning this are very similar to Gaulic anti-kin slaying blood feud ethics. Our ancestors the European "barbarians" are often depicted as savages, but in reality the Germanic/Nordic cultural norms dictated "turn the other cheek" type ethics within family and clan units, because to have blood feuds within kin often meant the end of the clan and thus posed a terrible threat to the Germanic/Nordic society if not handled amicably. When He talked about turning the cheek and other familiar benevolent actions done towards "enemies", he used a very specific word that had a very specific meaning. The word that he was using was not the word for someone swinging a sword at you, or some politician trying to abduct your child into a satanic pedophile ring. There are of course still Christian ethics that apply to even those enemies, but they are far more intricate and nuanced than just gay modernist nondenom Christian pacifism.

Much of the dumb modernist views that arise from mainstream Christians, and by consequence the (justified) moral/philosophical critiques by certain nonchristians, often arises from those modernist Christians thinking the Bible was written in English and deriving their opinions purely from English translations. One of the concepts that is hard to grasp is amicability towards enemies, or what even is an enemy, in the Christian lens. Very few know what was actually written beyond what was conveyed in English and subsequently lost in translation. There are numerous types of "enemy" words in the original Greek, and not all of them apply (or even were necessarily intended) by Christ when He spoke of this. The Greek word for "enemy" Christ used was "echthros" meaning a personal enemy, someone who you know personally that treats you poorly. A family member, a friend, a coworker, and so on. The words for public/political/military enemy weren't "polemios" and "hostis", weren't used by Christ. There is obviously a souring of the meaning of the words when we read (in English) that we are told to "turn the other cheek" to an "enemy" (like someone personally involved in our life) and also have to extrapolate this meaning out to even satanic forces (Satan being "The Enemy" in English).

Funny to me that the right wing has its own brand of fat acceptance/body positivity. You'll see guys (usually groyper adjacent) reduce lifting weights/weapons training/MMA/etc down to a "hobby". It's this disconnected mindset of "bad things have a possibility of happening, but they'll never ever happen to me." Your actions now will dictate your future. No one who's serious actually cares that you don't want to workout and train. By all means, don't do it. This will insure that the conclaves of actual dissidents who do carve out havens for ourselves have physically superior epigenetics that exclude the fats.
