The managing partner of my firm was putting on a mandatory Continued Professional Education class yesterday. He was incentivizing everyone to interact and answer questions as he was giving out actual cash. He probably had about $200 in cash with him and was handing out $20 bills for people who interacted. Ultimately, horror happens when you write evil and villains and their environments well. There were many times as a kid when reading the Hobbit or LOTR where I was legitimately scared pissless. Furthermore, this just solidifies in my mind that the old "horror movies/stories are satanic" trope was just another dumb boomerism.

This also explains almost all of the reasons females behave the way they do in male-typical jobs and positions of power.
