Oh boy, this is a long one! 😅 In 2018, I stumbled upon this exam while casually browsing the internet for opportunities available to graduates. At that time, I discovered that the exam was only a month away. Quickly, I filled out the application and attempted the exam, but unfortunately, I didn't perform well. At that point, I was attracted to the exam mainly due to its apparent benefits, similar to how any fresh aspirant might feel. During 2019, I began delving into the details of what the RBI was and what being a Grade-B officer in such a prestigious organization entailed. As my understanding grew, my initial attraction to the RBI transformed into a genuine passion. From then on, I directed all my efforts toward securing a position within the organization, driven by my newfound enthusiasm for the "Financial Literacy" aspect of the RBI. This was fueled by my desire to assist others, particularly those in my community, with various financial technologies, electronic transactions, savings, and more. In 2020, I prepared diligently for the exam, but when it finally took place in 2021, it turned out to be unexpectedly challenging for everyone. In the face of this setback, I embarked on a journey of recovery and renewal, which led me to y'all. This community has been an invaluable source of support and encouragement. Through this channel, I connected with incredible individuals who not only believed in my study methods but also achieved success as RBI Managers using those methods. Some became close friends, confidants, and guides. Their unwavering support during my toughest moments touched me deeply, and I am truly honored and appreciative. By 2022, I achieved one of the highest scores in the preliminary exam, a result that caught me by surprise. The outpouring of support and well-wishes from the community was unforgettable. I ventured into the main exam for the first time that year, but as you all know, the outcome was disappointing. This attempt was initially meant to be my final endeavor for the RBI Grade-B position (I'll explain why "supposedly" in a moment). However, life took an unexpected turn, and I couldn't clear even the preliminary round this time. The aftermath of that exam left me in a place where I struggled to face myself. It felt as if everything I had worked so hard for had crumbled away. I went through days of sorrow, unable to even get out of bed, let alone share my feelings with others. Yet, amidst the darkness, I realized I had no reason to be so despondent. I had put my heart and soul into preparing for the exam, and I was proud that I summoned the courage to restart my preparation after my previous defeat. The intention behind our actions carries significant weight. I am currently 29 years old, and this year marks my final attempt at any banking or insurance examination. I am now channeling my energy towards securing a job through these exams. I might still have one last opportunity for the RBI, provided the notification arrives before July 2024. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding elections next year, there are no guarantees. Despite all the challenges, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to every person who checked in on me during my absence. I deeply regret not being there for you during your difficult times, and I hope you can understand my circumstances. I promise to return soon to support the aspiring RBI Grade-B officers for 2024! I am determined never to let anyone's hope down, and that's why I named this channel 'HopeRBI'. To everyone, I wish you the very best, and thank you immensely!

Hi everyone! It has been so long since I have been active over telegram. Most of y’all have been worried about how I am doing and how my preparation was going. Well, I am doing fine and was just busy focusing on preparation. The exam is finally upon us, and every aspirant is a bit nervous about his/her preparation. And it is completely natural to have all kind of doubts and thoughts about it. I have been approached so many times about how to approach the exam preparation in the last few days. I apologize to everyone whom I couldn’t give any reply/suggestions. From my experience of the past 6 years being an aspirant of competitive exams, I have a few points to share: 1. Being nervous is totally natural. But making nervousness overtake your entire mind and soul could have devastating impacts over your mental health. Whenever the exam approaches, we must calm ourselves for the D-Day. Meditating and exercising helps a lot here, improving concentration and focus and relieving stress. 2. You can’t make changes during last few days of preparation. Whatever topics you have prepared for the exam beforehand are needed to be revised only. Doing new things at the end moment could eventually lead to a mental exhaustion as we won’t be able to handle such overwhelming influx of information. 3. Attempt Mocks as much as you can. DONOT LOOK INTO THE SCORES, RATHER FOCUS MORE ON THE “MOCK ANALYSIS”. Back when I attempted IBPS PO examination in 2019 (I was very much a naïve back then), I used to get 30-40 marks in the mocks of prelims. But, instead of focussing on the marks, I focussed on the type of questions and how to approach and solve them. That was my first ever prelims that I cleared. NOTE: Mocks that you can practice from: PracticeMock & Oliveboard 4. During mocks, make a strategy and stick to it (mostly). By this time, I am assuming you must have attempted a good chunk of mocks to make a strategic path of what type of questions you are gonna attempt. However, it might be a bit tricky to completely stick to a single strategy as we can’t say how the exam is going to turn out. So, keep your strategy of attempting the mock primary and be ready if any out of expectation paper comes. (Mocks help in getting ready for that as well). 5. The key to clear this exam is not only a cliched set of guidelines like “Maintain accuracy, attempt as much as you can in GA”, etc etc. The most important thing that you need to implement here along with these cliches is “CHOOSING THE RIGHT QUESTION TO ATTEMPT”. Wasting a good amount of time on a big 3-4 variable puzzle would not help at all, if you have no speed and/or accuracy in such kind of questions. Similarly, wasting time on a complicated DI which you know you won’t be able to do (if you haven’t have a grip in such type of questions) would surely backfire. Choosing the right question to attempt is completely subjective and depends upon the aspirant’s preparation and practice. So make sure you choose the right type of question in the exam that doesn’t take much of your time and that you can attempt accurately. 6. No TUKKEBAZI (guessing) in the GA section. Random Tukkas (Guesses) would definitely cost us our selection. But yes, if you can make an intelligent guess about a topic that you have some information about and if you can use elimination method to come down to 2 options, go ahead. But make sure that the no. of questions in which you do such intelligent guessing are minimum. This generally works in the questions related to schemes or some questions related to static portion of finance or ESI. 7. DONOT SET THE TARGETS OF HOW MANY QUESTIONS YOU ARE GOING TO ATTEMPT IN THE EXAM!!!!! IBPS is being extremely unpredictable these days. You don’t want to be trapped inside a delusion of making a target of the no. of questions to attempt and completely fluster if the exam comes out to be totally different from the expectations. Go with the flow.

Another failure. From all my experience in the past 6 years, this is the feeling that stood out the most. Every exam, every test, whatever i took, gave me this feeling. Failure. All hard work, dedication, everything, got me only to this point. But should I quit? Should I get disheartened that I am nowhere for the past 6 years? Should I get myself out of the main goal that I wanna achieve? Absolutely not. Hope is the only thing I have, along with my hard work. And I am certain it'll definitely not go in vain. Moving on has been a part of my life for a long time. It is definitely hard, heartbreaking, gut wrenchingly painful. But this is the only choice I have. I am wishing something good is written for me. I am hopeful that I'll do good for a great opportunity. Congratulations to all those who got in! All the very best for your future endeavours. But all those who couldn't, lets move on and try harder for a better opportunity!

Aaj ka gyan: Mocks - a litmus check for your preparation Phase 01: PM is the best series according to me followed by OB or Smartkeeda. Their tests are more or less at par with exam level. One should attempt at least 10-15 mocks. You may score very less initially but there is no need to lose hope. You will gradually improve. If you will score 90-100+ by the last mock, feel in safe zone. Also, try to analyse your mocks. Identify your strong & weak areas. Work on your weak areas and make your strong areas stronger. This is the actual purpose of mocks. Mocks aren't designed to make you feel over or under-confident. Phase 02: I don't find a single platform having mocks worth attempting. So, I came up with my own mock at @we_learn_here . As per reviews, the mock was at par with exam. I was planning to conduct more but evaluating is a hectic task and I am not sure whether I will conduct a few more. Only 07 people were able to clear the hypothetical cut-off of 170 in the mock test which was conducted on March 12th. Highest marks were 198. It signifies that there is a huge scope of improvement for everyone. You may attempt the qsns posted here on alternate days & get them evaluated by a friend or self-evaluate to know your descriptive preparation. Interview: Mentorme360 by Shivam is a very good channel for interview prep. He conducts mock interviews also and let you know the areas which need improvement. But keep one thing in mind, Mocks are the reminders, not the final verdict. So one should treat the mock results in the same way. If you don't score good, try to improve as you have sufficient time to do so. It is good to perform poorly in mock than in the actual exam. Thanks!

The main thing I wanted to discuss is that you MUST read newspaper every single day for at least 1 week after the Budget and Economic Survey are out. There will be some extremely important highlights and articles over there, and various schemes would also be mentioned in the newspapers which could be asked in the exam. Read the articles regarding budget and survey from newspapers very carefully. For the coverage of important articles regarding survey and budget, try covering Mint and/or Business Standard.
