There was a paper sign taped to the door of a gas station. Spaghetti dinner. Ten dollars. All proceeds to the Hensley family.
I did not know the Hensley family. I went because a man at the counter said "you going?" in a way that was not a question.
It was held in a fire hall. Folding tables. Paper plates. A row of women serving out of foil pans, and a boy of about twelve carrying a pitcher of tea with both hands and terrible concentration.
The father had been sick. That is all anyone said about it, all evening, and they said it exactly the same number of times, which was once.
There was a raffle. The prizes had been donated by people standing in the room.
A cord of firewood. Four hours of lawn care. A quilt. A cooler. A hand lettered index card that read "one oil change, any vehicle, Randy."
I bought thirty dollars of tickets, because the tickets were the point and I am not a fool.
I won the socket set. Two hundred and thirty pieces. I do not own a vehicle in this country. I have never needed a socket set and I never will. It is on a shelf. I will not give it away.
Here is what I could not stop watching. By the door sat a coffee can with a slit cut into the lid. Men came in from the parking lot who did not stay to eat. They put money in the can. They shook one hand. They left. They came to a dinner they did not eat, to pay for a family they were not related to, and they were embarrassed to be seen doing it.
That hall raised eleven thousand dollars in one evening at ten dollars a plate. I have read many times that Americans are the loudest people on earth. Whoever wrote that has never watched a man put cash in a coffee can and leave before anyone could thank him. | 711 |

Dr. Bowden shared a crowdsourced list of independents and compounders from Abilene to San Antonio, with prices ranging $35 to $100 for tablets or compounded versions, often including consultations or shipping within Texas.
Online reactions show appreciation for the options amid frustration over limited availability and past prescription hurdles, as large chains opt out and the list grows through user reports.
MY WORDS~ It’s blatantly obvious to me that access to this vital drug is being obstructed in multiple manners. Whether through price, misinformation, intimidation, or lack of availability. Why is that?!?!

9/11: Twenty-five years ago this week, I collected ash in an envelope after a woman told me she was taking ash home in a shoebox so her family would have something to bury.
The woman said she had driven all night and all day to NYC because her sibling had been at the World Trade Center for a business meeting.
That’s when I realized the towers had been turned into a furnace by the Al-Qaeda terrorists.
Americans were jumping to their deaths— some holding hands—rather than be burned alive.
From Fox to CBS, and now as an independent journalist, I have kept that envelope in a safe place, hoping the chance would come one day to analyze it and share it.
Since 9/11 more Americans have died from toxic exposure than died in the attacks themselves. Never Forget is a solemn pledge.

Just had a debate with a grocery store manager and it is a prime example of why some people should not be in leadership roles...
Cashier: "May I see your ID?"

Cashier: "I need your Drivers License for your birthdate"

Manager: "Let me go to the office to check our policy..."

The new Shipping and Packaging Rules from India for Supplements, has completely overcome all the drama of India Customs!
I'm believing now things will go through without a hitch and receiving emails of packages arriving from orders that were forwarded over on 8/1.
The India Pharmacy tested the first Round from those packages on hold to make sure a new gridlock wouldn't form. Once India Customs released their hold after implementing the new system rules, it only took two weeks to arrive to the U.S. 🥳
For those who received tracking numbers for that particular week, should notice all their packages arriving today, or in the next couple days. It made it through N.Y. Customs.
The next tracking numbers will soon be sent as I know the future rounds were also released by India Customs.
Thankyou for your patience as they work through all these new systems.

The fact that those memorial pools are black cubes (Saturn). Look up the black cubes of Saturn.
I assume one day we will understand that it was an inside job, but I don’t know if humanity is ready for exactly why it was done.
