🇨🇳⚡️J-10 has come up as the prime export aircraft for Chinese combat aircraft industries. The recent conflict between India & Pakistan saw one of the first active combat engagements of the J-10 fighter aircraft. Cost, TOT, tramspirtation and future overhaul probably and recent sale to countries like Nigeria and Pakistam make Iran gravitate towards J-10, now more than ever.

Recently, Minister of Defense of Iran visited China for a SCO meeting where negotiations were held on the purchase of long-range radar detection systems and J-10C fighters to replace Iran's old and destroyed park of F-14, F-5 and F-4. While news on warplanes is close to confirmation, there has been no whispers about air defence system, specially the PL-15 etc. Iran expects from China supplies of J-10C fighters and DRLO aircraft to replace the obsolete fleet of the F-14, F-5 and F-4 aircraft and prepare for future air fights with Israel.

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, a senior cleric in the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church and prominent opposition figure, was arrested on June 25, 2025, accused of orchestrating a coup to overthrow Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government. Authorities claim he recruited over 1,000 former soldiers and police to form armed strike teams, intending to block roads, cut communications, and carry out attacks in a 24 to 36-hour operation.

🇶🇦 — Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman releases a statement on Iran's attack against Al-Udeid Air Base.

The State of Qatar strongly condemns the attack that targeted Al-Udeid Air Base by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. We consider this a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, its airspace, international law, and the United Nations Charter. We affirm that Qatar reserves the right to respond directly in a manner equivalent with the nature and scale of this brazen aggression, in line with international law. We reassure that Qatar’s air defenses successfully thwarted the attack and intercepted the Iranian missiles. A detailed statement regarding the circumstances of the attack will be issued later by the Ministry of Defense. We also emphasize that the continuation of such escalatory military actions will undermine security and stability in the region, dragging it into situations that could have catastrophic consequences for international peace and security. We call for the immediate cessation of all military actions and for a serious return to the negotiating table and dialogue. Furthermore, the State of Qatar was one of the first countries to warn against the dangers of Israeli escalation in the region. We have consistently called for diplomatic solutions to be prioritized and have stressed the importance of good-neighborliness and avoiding escalation. We reaffirm that dialogue is the only way to overcome the current crises and ensure the security of the region and the peace of its people. The base had been evacuated earlier, following established security and precautionary measures, given the tensions in the region.
