Good day, Evo X fam. Evolution X Android 14 source may be ready to build for some devices as of now. Our team has yet to manage to boot A14 on any of our devices (except for whyred and redfin) which means the ROM couldn't be tested for new changes. Our gapps package is currently updated with Pixel 8 Pro apps and libs while we have yet to update some overlays within our vendor. Several of our repositories have been updated as well to reflect the changes made by Google in A14. We appreciate your patience on this and it seems we'll need a bit more time to find out the real reason why our devices would not boot A14.

Our Android 14 source is still in progress as of today. Several issues have already been resolved with the help of some users in our chat. Evolution X Android 14 release will be delayed indefinitely due to build issues with the new sources. We'll have to wait just like everyone else until a fix is available.

As we all wait for Android 14, latest October security patches have been manually merged into our Android 13 sources; release tags aren't out yet that's why it's a manual merge for now. Just in case some maintainers may want to release with the latest patches.

As the Android 14 release is just around the corner, let me remind our community that initial Android 14 builds will have little to no additional features as porting them from Android 13 will take some time for testing and fixing code conflicts. Kindly lower your expectations and excitement. We're aware that everyone wants the latest version of Android. We want it as well. But building pressure will only lead to more issues.

Evolution X is a custom ROM that aims to provide the best user experience with Pixel goodies and features.
