Good day, Evo X fam. Evolution X Android 14 source may be ready to build for some devices as of now. Our team has yet to manage to boot A14 on any of our devices (except for whyred and redfin) which means the ROM couldn't be tested for new changes. Our gapps package is currently updated with Pixel 8 Pro apps and libs while we have yet to update some overlays within our vendor. Several of our repositories have been updated as well to reflect the changes made by Google in A14. We appreciate your patience on this and it seems we'll need a bit more time to find out the real reason why our devices would not boot A14.

As reported by our Pixel 5 maintainer, QS panel (even light theme) no longer lags. We'll try to avoid including QS panel customization for Android 14 to keep things smooth and stable. :)

Our Android 14 source is still in progress as of today. Several issues have already been resolved with the help of some users in our chat. You may try syncing and building but there will definitely be some build errors that need to be ironed out. If you want to help out, join @EvolutionXBuilders and let's make this thing boot.

Evolution X Android 14 release will be delayed indefinitely due to build issues with the new sources. We'll have to wait just like everyone else until a fix is available.

We are aware that some Android 14 codes are now available. Work begins today.

As we all wait for Android 14, latest October security patches have been manually merged into our Android 13 sources; release tags aren't out yet that's why it's a manual merge for now. Just in case some maintainers may want to release with the latest patches.

As the Android 14 release is just around the corner, let me remind our community that initial Android 14 builds will have little to no additional features as porting them from Android 13 will take some time for testing and fixing code conflicts. Our OTA updater has been DISABLED for new releases in preparation for the Android 14 release. Please stop trying to report it as a bug. It is intentional to avoid dirty flashing from Android 13 to 14.
