8 months ago, when I joined ZUS, I was struggling with CI/CD pipelines and Kafka. Every time I touched the pipeline, there was a good chance I would break something 😅. I didn't fully understand deployments, build processes, environment variables, or how everything connected together.
Kafka was just as challenging. Concepts like topics, partitions, offsets, producers, and consumers seemed complicated, and troubleshooting issues could take hours.
Over time, I learned that the fastest way to grow is to stop being afraid of breaking things. Every failed deployment, every Kafka issue, and every debugging session taught me something new. I spent countless hours reading logs, reviewing documentation, testing solutions, and asking questions.
Today, the things that once confused me are part of my daily work. The lesson is simple: don't be discouraged when something feels difficult. Consistency beats talent when it comes to learning new technologies. Keep showing up, and keep learning.........

One thing I understood from this is that.....AI makes building software easier, not less valuable....Anyone can generate an app now, just like anyone can bake bread at home, but people still pay professionals for quality, reliability, and the details that matter......The same applies to software......Real products still need architecture, security, scalability, maintenance, and engineers who understand the nuances behind the scenes.....

Yesterday, I bought a “Mac” in the cloud for $25… meanwhile Apple is selling the same vibe for $2000 😭
But honestly… Mac is amazing 😅

For Anime Lovers 🙂↕️
Finally brought this project to the web. The original mobile app, Anime Discovery, used the Gemini AI to suggest shows based on any vibe or interest you described. While using AI for a full database isn't the correct way to build, it was great for personalized lists, so I’m planning to add that intelligent feature to this web version soon.
For now, this version uses the Jikan API to handle data and suggestions properly. Vibe coded this in about 2-3 hours today.
You might wonder why build something that already exists, but this is how you create something unique that addresses your own needs. It’s about starting with what’s there and building new features through the process. It’s strictly for discovery, so once you find a show, you can grab the files from places like MovieBox or T4TSA. Check it out: Aniሜዳ Me: I Built Sth Gemini be like: ትዝብት ነው ሆዴ 🥹 #VibeCoding #Animሜዳ @TedrosCodes

Just got a nice review on Upwork 😊
Really appreciate the feedback — always trying to deliver solid work. More coming soon 🫡
The idea behind it is making native Amharic speakers get comfortable in programming with their own language... But I saw the terms I was already confused fr... Var is nebel😂😂😂
