🌻DD OF NECK SWELLINGS : 1-Mid line swelling : Submental lymph node enlargement Nodule in isthmus of thyroid or cyst Dermoid cyst Thyroglossal cyst Subhyoid bursitis Laryngocoele Lypoma , subaceous cyst , haemangioma 2- Submandibular triangle 🔻 Enlarged submandibular lymph nodes ( multiple and can rolled over the edge of mandible ) Enlarged submandibular salivary gland Lypoma , subaceous cysts , haemangioma 3- Carotid triangle 🔻 : Enlarged upper cervical LNS Carotid body tumor or aneurysm Cold  abcess , branchial cyst Lypoma , sebacous cyst , haemangioma 4- Posterior triangle 🔻 : Enlarged LNS , cervical rib , neurofibroma arising from brachial plexus , cold abscess,  pharyngeal pouch , pneumatocele , lypoma , sebaceous cyst , haemangiomas 🔴Why the first DD of neck swelling is LNS enlargement?  Because >>from about 600 LNS  are present in the body about 200-400 are present #DD in surgery

Murphy drip is a rectal infusion apparatus to administer the medical procedure of proctoclysis, also known as rectoclysis.
