The High Court in Kibera has adjourned the murder trial of blogger and teacher Albert Ojwang to December 14.
Justice Kavedza pushed the remaining hearings to December due to the court's packed schedule.
The court also set aside additional hearing dates for the continuation of the trial.
Prior to the postponement, the court heard explosive testimonies and reviewed crucial electronic evidence regarding Ojwang's June 2025 death inside the Nairobi Central Police Station cells.
Six suspects—including former Central Police Station OCS Samson Talaam, Police Constables James Mukhwana and Peter Kimani, and three civilians—are currently being held in custody.
The suspects remain denied bond due to risks of witness interference and will stay in remand until the trial resumes at the end of the year.
