The Heat Death of the Universe
This theory follows from the second law of thermodynamics and proposes that if the universe was infinite, it should also be infinitely old. In other words, if a star is seen to be one million light years away, it could only be there if the universe was at least one million years old (assuming the speed of light is constant). Therefore, in an infinitely old universe, heat death would suggest that eventually the entire universe will have the same uniform temperature, at which point the universe will remain stagnant. However, this idea would only make sense if the speed at which the universe is expanding has always remained constant. An aspect that other ideas, like cosmic inflation, would be in direct conflict with.

Weirdo universe
There's no questioning the fact that the universe is weird. Just look outside and you'll see all manner of strange, self-reproducing flora and fauna, crawling upon a blue ball of semimolten rock covered in a thin, hard shell and blanketed by a tenuous film of gases. Yet our own planet represents a tiny fraction of the peculiar phenomena that can be found lurking throughout the cosmos, and every day astronomers turn up new surprises. The Village of Eternal Sleep.
For several years s. Kalachi (Kazakhstan) something strange was happening. Men and women, children and the elderly fell asleep literally on the move. Some for few days, some for a week.
Officially, the first case of the unexplained illness was recorded in Kalachi in March 2013. But 46-year-old Taisia Churkina first fell asleep in 2012. She was going to the local concert on the eve of March 8, and she fell asleep in her chair for five days. The third "attack" happened a year later, but Taisia "carried it on her feet". In 2013, her husband also went into hibernation.
In 2015, representatives of the local administration explained the reason for the "mysterious illness. The case turned out to be excessive concentrations of carbon monoxide. The ore, which was mined near Kalachi during the Soviet era, contains too much carbon monoxide after the mines were flooded and began accumulating and then escaping. That's why Kalachinsk residents who inhaled it fell asleep.

Transplantation of a toe from a foot to a hand.
After a circular saw accident, doctors were unable to give the patient his toe back. But they took the unusual step of removing the big toe and transplanting it to the hand. The operation was successful.

Pareidolia (Reason why we see things which aren't there in real)
Pareidolia is an ancient ability that may have helped our early ancestors survive by enabling us to identify potential hidden dangers in our environmentāwas that something in the grass over there? In his 1995 book The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark, Carl Sagan helped spread the claim that pareidolia is why we see certain ghostly apparitions.
Itās a phenomenon that explains how our brains interpret light and shadows or figures in the distance on an eerie, foggy battlefield. Itās not that there isnāt something there to see; itās just your brain filling in missing pieces to create an image that isnāt really there.

The universe we see is hospitable; otherwise, we would not be here to observe it
The anthropic principle states that every universe in the multiverse has an almost infinite range of different properties and physical laws, and that we are here because the universe where we are is hospitable. This theory was eventually dismissed by some as being pseudoscience.

Quantum Suicide and Immortality
Quantum suicide is a thought experiment in quantum mechanics and the philosophy of physics. Purportedly, it can falsify any interpretation of quantum mechanics other than the Everett many-worlds interpretation by means of a variation of the Schrƶdinger's cat thought experiment, from the cat's point of view. Quantum immortality refers to the subjective experience of surviving quantum suicide. This concept is sometimes conjectured to be applicable to real-world causes of death as well.

In 1518, a strange and fatal ādancing plagueā struck Strasbourg, Alsace. The fervent dancing in the streets lasted over a period of about a month and as result with some dancers suffering from heart attacks, strokes, and many more dying from sheer exhaustion. Hundreds were affected, and it still remains unexplained to this day!

Olympus Mons on Mars is 27km tall - almost three times the height of Mt. Everest and more than twice the height of Mauna Kea. It is so tall that it essentially sticks out of Mars's atmosphere.
It is 550km across at the base - so wide that if you were standing at the edge of the caldera, the base of the volcano would be beyond the horizon.

Jupiter's true colors pop in new images from NASA's Juno mission
A new image captured by NASA's Juno Jupiter explorer reveals features in the turbulent atmosphere of the solar system's largest planet in the same colors a human observer would see them.
Juno took the image on July 5, 2022, during its 43rd close flyby of Jupiter using its JunoCam instrument. The spacecraft was at a distance of 3,300 miles (5,300 kilometers) from the tops of the gas giant's clouds when the image was taken, zipping by at 130,000 mph (209,000 kph)

Doppler effect
The apparent difference between the frequency at which sound or light waves leave a source and that at which they reach an observer, caused by relative motion of the observer and the wave source.
As objects move further away the light waves that are emitted by it are stretched out,, so the wavelength becomes longer. The longer wave lengths in the visible spectrum of light are red. So as the waves are stretched they shift toward the red end of the spectrum.

Fluoroantimonic acid
The world's strongest superacid is fluoroantimonic acid, HSbF6. It is formed by mixing hydrogen fluoride (HF) and antimony pentafluoride (SbF5). Various mixtures produce the superacid, but mixing equal ratios of the two acids produces the strongest superacid known to man.

Theory of Everything
To ultimately understand the singularity of the big bang and the sinularities of black holes we would need to combine general relativity (the theory of the universe at a large scale) with quantum mechanics (the theory of the atomic and subatomic). The only problem is that scientists are unable to understand gravity at an atomic level which suggests one of these two theories is incomplete or incorrect.

In 132 A.D., the Chinese astronomer Zhang Heng created a seismometer, a device that detected the earth's movement during an earthquake. It could not predict earthquakes, but it showed which side they were coming from - even when they were hundreds of miles away!
His seismometer, the first known device built to detect earthquakes, was important because devastating earthquakes were occurring in many remote areas of China. Thus, the detection device helped the emperor know when and where to send timely aid from the capital.
