Surf’s Up Wave Machine Bart rides a surfboard between two immiscible liquids which are sorted under gravity by density with the densest (dyed water) on the bottom and the lightest (mineral oil) on top. Bart’s board has a density between that of the two liquids so it stays at the boundary layer, and a capsule of air above Bart’s head keeps him upright. The motorized rocking mechanism in the base is powered by one C cell battery and produces the waves at the boundary layer by sloshing and colliding the dense liquid off each end. A battle between aliens: What did fishermen see in 1665? On April 8, 1665, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, fishermen anchored near Bachfert noticed not just strange objects in the sky, but a real battle. A whole fleet of flying machines were bombarding each other. Perfectly round spheres found in Costa Rica The stones are called Dikis spheres and so far only 15 stones with a perfect spherical shape have been found in the Costa Rica area. To keep the ancient artifacts intact, it was decided to leave them partially in the ground. The ants continue running until they drop dead. Theodor Schneierla, a zoopsychologist, made a research on this strange round dance in 1944. He also suggested a possible reason for it: the pheromone trail, in which ants scavenge for food as a group, marking the ground surface as they march to get food. For some reason, the ant's algorithm fails, and the ant begins to walk in a closed circle, involving its fellow ants in the death march.
