☑️ Excel spreadsheet for analysis and design of stairs based on ES EN 1992-1-1:2015 This spreadsheet has the capability of handling dog legged stairs with different support conditions. Four support conditions are considered in particular and each is handled in a separate sheet. The following sheet names, in the spreadsheet, indicate the following meaning: SS- simply supported. ESSC-End span with floor slab continuous. ESELC- End span with elevated landing continuous. IS- interior span. All this types of support conditions are shown in the picture below. @theoryanddesignofstructures

☑️ Excel spreadsheet for rectangular beam design. The spreadsheet can handle design of rectangular beam for flexure. Given design moment, material and section properties, the spreadsheet yields reinforcement required by the section. It can handle both singly and doubly reinforced beams. National Annex? Eurocode is a general guideline on how to design structures in countries accepting its use such as ours. Eurocode is not prepared by considering a specific country, it is prepared following scientific principles and generalized parameters. From economic point of view, some values might not be economical in some countries and some others might consider some parameters unsafe. In order to ammend such conflicts and to handle parameters which depend on climatic conditions and ground activities( such as seismic actions) some parameters are subjected to confirmation or selection at national level by national bodies. The decisions made by national bodies become nationally determined parameters(NDP) which are published in a National Annex(NA) for each part of eurocode. In ES EN 1992-1-1:2015 or in fact any other part of the new ethiopian code, Tables or equations containing the letter 'N' are based on Ethiopian national annex.
