The chart details changes in the quantity of US families depending on their yearly earnings for three distinct years, 2007, 2011 and 2015. Overall, it is evident that the number of low income families (earning under $50.000) showed a rise and fall, while households from high income level (earning over $100.000) showed a noticeable increase. Notably, mid-level category (earning between 50 and $100.000) indicated little to no alteration in their figures. In more detail, around 25 million US families earned between under 25.000 and 50.000 dollars in 2007. Then, there was a slight rise in this figure to approximately 30 million four years later, which eventually dropped by a mere 2-3 million in the last year examined. As regards the mid-level category, households whose annual earnings were in the vicinity of $50.000-$75.000 and 75.000-$100.000 stood at 20 and 15 million, respectively, during all three years. Yeah, he is right I talk about being a true man in my lessons because there are a lot of reasons for this! First of all, it puts them in a thinking mode that getting a good band score amd studying well gets them one step closer. Secondly, it increases their level of care for their parents, so they will deter from wasting their money! Thirdly, it reminds them about the surrounding competition they are in and so pushes them to be their best selves. Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship between people. To what extent do you agree or disagree? There is no doubt that honesty is an important value in our society but telling the truth may not always be the smartest move. However, some people believe that telling the truth is always the most important consideration. I personally agree with this statement although I believe that it should depend on the circumstance whether we should tell a lie or speak the truth. Firstly, I admit that there are certain situations we find ourselves in where telling a lie is more beneficial. This is called a white lie, which is meant to ease tension and avoid the unnecessary concern. This perhaps can best be illustrated in the job of doctors and in some cases leaders too. These people cannot always speak the truth because the resulting reaction from the patients and employees respectively can exacerbate the situation even further. For example, telling the patient that he/she is terminally ill does not help them recover, and similarly informing the staff about the potential bankruptcy may disintegrate them rather than cooperate on solving the existing issue. Apart from urgent moments where telling a white lie is of assistance, choosing to speak the truth is beneficial for many reasons. Primarily, telling a lie is often associated with health risk, because when people lie they become defensive and they always will think of ways to keep it unheard. The potential negative consequences frighten them and they slowly take a toll on their mental and physical well-being since it puts negative pressure on them. Thus, with this in mind it is not hard to deduce that telling the truth helps set a person free and live a more healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, there are other benefits of being trustful. For one, it increases a person’s reliability among different networks of people including co-workers and friends and family. However, if a person is known to be an inveterate liar, then they may suffer from feelings of alienation. This isolation may prevent them from having many opportunities and spoil their social experiences. Secondly, telling a lie can become a habit leading to even unintended future lies and consequences. In conclusion, while there are instances where a white lie may be appropriate, honesty should be valued as the default approach. 👉TASK2 essay on a #recenttopic Many people believe that the best way to produce a happier society is to ensure that there are only small differences in earning between the richest and the poorest members. To what extent do you agree or diagree? A person's income level is often thought to be the determining factor of their happiness in life. Therefore, some people suggest that the optimal way of creating a more fulfilled society is to minimize the difference between the earnings of wealthy and less affluent people. In my opinion, this proposal is flawed, and I shall provide a range of other factors which would prevent it from materializing. There are a number of other factors that contribute to happiness apart from financial balance. For example, social support is something that people always feel the need for, regardless of their income. This includes emotional support received through advice, suggestions, and consolation from friends and family. Moreover, if people do not have a sense of belonging, they will always feel lonely and unhappy, regardless of how much they earn. For instance, in times of health crises or job challenges, people feel more in need of the affection and the sense of belonging they receive from their social circle, not necessarily their steady income. In addition, political stability has been shown to be perhaps the most precious factor in the face of infamous wars between countries and political unrest. For example, during the Second World War, a large number of innocent people's lives were ruined, and their peace was taken away from them, even though they were from some of the most income-egalitarian nations, namely France and Germany. When the times are politically tense, it adversely affects residents on emotional and physical levels. Suffice to say, it is hard to build a happy society without political stability. In conclusion, I am totally convinced that the construction of a happy society does not depend solely on income equality.
