Many people say that providing access to clean water should be main focus for international aid organisations. Others say that there are more important uses for international aid Discuss both views and give your opinion There is a debate over whether international aid organizations should prioritize water over other issues. While some suggest this, others argue that there are more important and pressing areas for consideration. In my opinion, the existence of more urgent crises such as the environment and education should add weight to the argument of the latter group. Admittedly, the supply of clean water to underdeveloped countries that are deprived of this resource should clearly be on the agenda of global donor organizations. Objectively speaking, water is not accessible in a number of places, particularly in Central African countries where water scarcity is responsible for loss of human lives. Moreover, our domestic and industrial existence depends on clean and consumable water for us to function and operate. Without water, civilization would come to an end as it is nearly impossible to live without it at all levels. Nevertheless, there are more important issues for global aid organizations to provide help within. The first of these areas is the environment. Pollution levels are increasing due to waste building up in rivers, canals, and oceans. This, in turn, worsens the state of climate change and global warming, which partly contributes to water scarcity. If donor organizations help clean water bodies and establish more waste recycling sites, the negative impact on the environment would be reduced. Additionally, the crisis in education is another field where financial assistance from international bodies would be much welcomed. For instance, the problem of illiteracy, especially in countries like Syria, Senegal, and Afghanistan, has persisted for a long period in history, preventing these nations from advancing in technology. Furthermore, a range of credible sources consistently show that numerous villages lack properly furnished schools, children have no access to education, and modern technologies have not been introduced. In conclusion, addressing the issue of access to clean water should undoubtedly be one of the primary goals of aiding organizations.
