Your biggest expense as a traveller will be a roof over your head and food. If you remove the costs of those two things, travel can become very cheap. Get out there into the world, travel, explore, make connections, learn languages. Especially if you are someone still in their youth. You wouldn't believe how many people i know who haven't even been outside of the 100km radius around their house. Travelling around the world while you are still young is worth a university degree. This is the earth you were born on, go out and explore it.

BIG TIP TO KEEP TRAVEL CHEAP AND LEARN SOMETHING FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE A website exists called workaway. Most volunteering opportunities abroad are things you need to pay for (ridiculous, why would you PAY someone to work for them for free.) hosts will post their projects on the website (lots of permaculture and off grid living projects, farmstays, etc. It’s a very “humanist” themed website.) and if you have an account you can message them and offer yourself to volunteer in exchange for room and board. Work hours are generally very reasonable and short, 5 to 7 hours and then you are free to explore and do whatever you want. There’s more than just farmstays though, there’s cultural exchanges, language exchange and teaching. volunteering at hostels, animal shelters. And some other more interesting and unique projects can be found too. I really can’t recommend a workaway more. Please, if you are traveling, ESPECIALLY on a tight budget check it out. It makes travel VERY cheap
