Dear students, I have prepared a video for level 4, level 5 and level 6 registration process with clear indications of what kind modules you must select based on the flexibility and restrictions of the course handbook. Please check the video of your respective level before doing the Registration to guarantee that your selection will be kept for the next academic year. Dr Julian Pineres, BA BM course leader.

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT ENROLMENT REMINDER FOR 2026/2027 AY โš ๏ธ Dear students, we have noticed that many students complete only the first part of the enrolment process and mistakenly assume they have successfully enrolled for the new academic year. Please note: โœ… Updating your personal information DOES NOT mean your enrolment is complete. The enrolment process contains TWO separate stages, and you must click โ€œCreate Newโ€ twice. Step-by-step: 1๏ธโƒฃ Go to SRS -> Enrolment 2๏ธโƒฃ Click Create New 3๏ธโƒฃ Update your profile information and save it 4๏ธโƒฃ Tick the declaration box and click Enrol 5๏ธโƒฃ Return to the enrolment page 6๏ธโƒฃ Click Create New AGAIN 7๏ธโƒฃ Complete the academic enrolment section 8๏ธโƒฃ Tick both required declarations 9๏ธโƒฃ Click Enrol ๐Ÿ”Ÿ Check your final enrolment status โ—๏ธYour enrolment is completed ONLY if you can see the message: โ€œYou are enrolled for the 2026/2027 AYโ€ If you do not see this confirmation message, your enrolment may not have been completed successfully. Please double-check your status to avoid any issues with your registration for the new academic year. If you experience any difficulties, please contact the relevant university department for assistance. Kamilla Asadova SU Education & Welfare Executive

Guuuys, please note that when registering for the University of Westminster Online Verification Service, you must use your personal email address. โŒ Do NOT use your WIUT webmail/university email address. โœ… Use a personal email account (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) together with your UoW Student ID number (can be found in SRS) when creating your account. @SeventyPlus

๐Ÿ“ข Referral & Deferral Assessment Period Reminder Dear Students, The Referral/Deferral assessment period is approaching, so please make sure to check your examination details in advance โœ… ๐Ÿ—“ Assessment Dates: โ€ข Midterm Assessments: 8 June โ€“ 12 June โ€ข Final Assessments: 15 June โ€“ 19 June Your individual exam schedule and venue allocation can be found: ๐Ÿ“Œ In your WIUT SRS profile under โ€œMy Examsโ€ ๐Ÿ“Œ On the Intranet Assessment Schedule Before your exam, please remember to: โœ”๏ธ Arrive at least 40 minutes early โœ”๏ธ Bring your WIUT Student ID card โœ”๏ธ Carry a blue or black pen โœ”๏ธ Prepare thoroughly for your assessment โš ๏ธ Important: Students must strictly follow examination regulations during all assessments. The use of unauthorised materials, notes, phones, smart devices, or any form of cheating is strictly prohibited. Any violation of exam rules may result in an Academic Misconduct case and a mark of zero for the assessment. We encourage everyone to review their schedules carefully and attend exams responsibly. Best of luck with your assessments! ๐Ÿ€ Sincerely, SU Education & Welfare

Guuys, Progression and Awards Board 25/26 results are officially out on SRS now โœ… Please check your profile carefully, especially your: โ€ข assessment grades โ€ข module status โ€ข progression outcome We know many students are currently confused about PASS statuses, referrals, and condoned credit, so hereโ€™s the most important information in a clearer and simpler way ๐Ÿ‘‡ If your module outcome on SRS says PASS โœ…, this means you have successfully passed the module and do not need to complete any further assessment for it. This remains true even if one of the assessment components is marked as R (Referral). In this case, you are exempt from reassessment for that module. โš ๏ธ For CIFS and Level 4 students especially: if you received Condoned Credit, this also means the module is considered passed. Students with condoned credit should NOT attempt any reassessment components for that module during the referral/deferral period. This includes: โ€ข ๐Ÿ“ coursework resubmissions โ€ข ๐ŸŽค presentations โ€ข ๐Ÿ“„ in-class tests or exams โ€ข ๐Ÿ“Œ any other reassessment tasks โŒ Any new attempt for a condoned module will not be considered. You only need to complete reassessment if: โ€ข your final module mark is below 40 (UG students) โ€ข your final module mark is below 50 (PG students) AND your module outcome shows REFERRAL. Please review your results calmly and carefully before preparing for any reassessment activities ๐Ÿ’™ @SeventyPlus

Guuuys, the draft schedule for Referral/Deferral midterm and final assessments for the 2025โ€“2026 academic year is now available ๐Ÿ‘€ You can access it via this LINK ๐Ÿ”— Please make sure to check it carefully, especially if you have referrals/deferrals this semester. ๐Ÿ—“ If you notice any issues or have comments regarding the schedule, send them before 25 May, 5:00 PM. Comments submitted later may not be considered. ๐Ÿ™ The final confirmed version of the schedule will be published on 26 May. @SeventyPlus

Guuys, donโ€™t panic because of the third component suddenly appearing in SRS ๐Ÿ˜ญ Weโ€™ve seen that some students now have an additional resit attempt showing up in their assessment components, so hereโ€™s the important part: โœ… The overall passing mark for a module is still 40 and above โœ… If your overall module mark is 40+, it means you have PASSED the module So if you already have a passing overall mark, the extra resit attempt appearing in SRS should simply be ignored for now. ๐Ÿ—“ Official module statuses and confirmed marks will be released between 25โ€“31 May. Until then, try not to stress too much over the system display, what matters is your overall module result. @SeventyPlus

๐Ÿ“ข Thinking About Submitting an Academic Appeal? Read This First. After the release of marks, some students may consider submitting an academic appeal. Before doing so, it is very important to understand what an appeal actually is and what it is not. โœ… An appeal can only be submitted if there is evidence of a material irregularity, meaning the university procedures or regulations were not properly followed, and this directly affected your outcome. Examples may include procedural mistakes during marking, assessment handling, Board decisions, or MC claim processing. Before deciding to appeal, students are strongly advised to: โ€ข Carefully review the feedback provided for the assessment โ€ข Meet or communicate with the Module Leader to clarify any concerns โ€ข Make sure all marks have been officially confirmed โ€ข Identify clear evidence showing that a procedural irregularity occurred โŒ โ€œI think my mark should be higherโ€ is not considered valid grounds for appeal. ๐Ÿ—“ Appeal Submission Period: 1 June โ€“ 19 June 2026 โœ‰๏ธ Appeals must be submitted using the official appeal form together with supporting evidence via: AcademicAppeal@wiut.uz โณ The review process may take up to 20 working days, and the decision will be sent to your university email. โš ๏ธ Important Reminder: If you have referrals or reassessments, you are still required to complete them while your appeal is being considered. Do not wait for the appeal outcome before preparing for reassessment tasks. If you need clarification or support regarding the process, you may contact: โ€ข academicsupport@wiut.uz โ€ข gmace@wiut.uz @SeventyPlus

๐Ÿ“ข Important Reminder: Module Mark Calculation (2025/26) Guuys, we would like to remind you about an important change in how your overall module marks are calculated. This applies to CIFS and Undergraduate students. ๐Ÿ“˜ What has changed? Previously, the โ€œQualifying Mark (30)โ€ rule was applied. This meant that if you scored below 30 in any assessment component, the entire module was automatically considered a fail, even if your overall mark reached 40 or above. โ€ผ๏ธ Starting from this academic year, the โ€œQualifying Mark of 30โ€ rule is no longer applied. โœ… Now, all component marks count toward your final module result, even if one of them is below 30. The overall pass mark remains 40! ๐Ÿ“Š Example: Before: โ€ข Component 1 (50%): 62 โ€ข Component 2 (50%): 24 -> Overall: 39 (Referral), retake required Now: โ€ข Component 1 (50%): 62 โ€ข Component 2 (50%): 24 -> Overall: 43 (Pass), no retake @SeventyPlus
