📢 Thinking About Submitting an Academic Appeal? Read This First. After the release of marks, some students may consider submitting an academic appeal. Before doing so, it is very important to understand what an appeal actually is and what it is not. ✅ An appeal can only be submitted if there is evidence of a material irregularity, meaning the university procedures or regulations were not properly followed, and this directly affected your outcome. Examples may include procedural mistakes during marking, assessment handling, Board decisions, or MC claim processing. Before deciding to appeal, students are strongly advised to: • Carefully review the feedback provided for the assessment • Meet or communicate with the Module Leader to clarify any concerns • Make sure all marks have been officially confirmed • Identify clear evidence showing that a procedural irregularity occurred ❌ “I think my mark should be higher” is not considered valid grounds for appeal. 🗓 Appeal Submission Period: 1 June – 19 June 2026 ✉️ Appeals must be submitted using the official appeal form together with supporting evidence via: AcademicAppeal@wiut.uz ⏳ The review process may take up to 20 working days, and the decision will be sent to your university email. ⚠️ Important Reminder: If you have referrals or reassessments, you are still required to complete them while your appeal is being considered. Do not wait for the appeal outcome before preparing for reassessment tasks.
