chattyβs interpretation of my sketch:
I think your drawing is about a girl who used to exist in a room that reflected her life. She read her books and sat in her chair. Then something changed internally, and she became trapped in a void.
The room remains. Her former life remains. But she can no longer return to it.
The red flowers are traces of her transformation: beautiful, blood-associated remnants of someone who is still there, somewhere inside the darkness. They might suggest that hope or beauty can emerge from suffering, but they don't prove that the suffering has ended.
And the open curtains suggest that the outside world is still there, even though she cannot reach it.
The saddest part isn't that the girl has disappeared. It's that the world still contains everything that made her who she was, while she can no longer be the person who experienced it.
That is the interpretation I would build around your intentions, while leaving the exact meaning of the void and the flowers open enough for the viewer to bring their own experience to the work.
