ከአለም ባንክ ፕሬዝደንት እና ከኢትዮጵያ መልካም ወዳጅ አጄይ ባንጋ ጋር መወያየት ሁልጊዜም ቢሆን አስደሳች ነው። በመካሄድ ላይ ስላሉት በአለም ባንክ ቡድን ለኢትዮጵያ የሚደረጉ ድጋፎች ዙሪያ ተወያይተናል። ይኸውም በጤና፣ በኃይል ምንጭ እና የአየር ንብረት ጥበቃ የልማት ፕሮጀክቶች የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ጉዳይን የተመለከተ ነበር። Always a great pleasure meeting with Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank and good friend of #Ethiopia. We discussed the World Bank Group’s ongoing support to Ethiopia, including financing development projects in health, energy, and climate.

ከዩናይትድ ኪንግደም ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ኬር ስታመር ጋር ተገናኝተን በሁለቱ ሀገሮቻችን መካከል ጠንካራውን እና ለረጅም ዘመናት የቆየውን የሁለትዮሽ ግንኙነት ወደፊት ማራመድ በማስፈለጉ ላይ ተወያይተናል። Met with Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for exchanges on the need to take forward the strong and longstanding bilateral relations between two countries.

በቡድን 20 የመሪዎች ጉባኤ ከኢንዶኔዥያ ምክትል ፕሬዝደንት ጊብራን ራክቡሚንግ ራካ ጋር መልካም ውይይት አድርገናል። በሁለቱም ሀገሮቻችን ቅድሚያ በምንሰጠው በንግድ እና በምግብ ሉዓላዊነት ላይ ባተኮረ የግብርና ማዘመን ሥራ ትብብራችንን ለማጠናከር የሚያስችሉ መንገዶች ላይ ተነጋግረናል። Good conversation with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka of Indonesia at the G20 Summit. We explored ways to strengthen the cooperation of the two countries on trade and agricultural modernization with a focus on food sovereignty, which is a priority for both countries.

የጀርመን ቻንሰለር ፍሬድሪክ ሜርዝ ጋር ተገናኝተን ተወያይተናል። ውይይታችን በቁልፍ የጋራ ፍላጎት ጉዳዮች ላይ ያተኮረ ሲሆን ትስስራችንን ለማጠናከር የሚረዱ መንገዶችን ለመፈለግ ያለንን ፍላጎት ገልጸናል። Good to meet with Chancellor Friedrich Merz today. We exchanged views on key areas of mutual interest and expressed our shared intention to explore ways to strengthen ties.

የኢትዮጵያ እና ፈረንሳይ ግንኙነት እየተከናወኑ ባሉ ትብብሮች መጠናከሩን ቀጥሏል። በዚህ ረገድም ከፕሬዝደንት ኢማኑኤል ማክሮን ጋር ትብብሮቻችን ስላሉበት ደረጃ ተነጋግረናል። Ethiopia-France relations continue to strengthen through ongoing engagements. Accordingly, President Macron and I had the opportunity to meet on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit for a productive catch-up.

የኢትዮ-አውሮፓ ኅብረት ግንኙነት ለማላቅ ከአውሮፓ ኅብረት ምክርቤት ፕሬዝደንት አንቶኒዮ ኮስታ ጋር የሁለትዮሽ ውይይት አካሂደናል። በተለያዩ ዘርፎች ትብብራችንን የበለጠ ለማጠናከር አቋማችንን እንደገና አጽንተናል። Building on Ethio-EU existing relations, I held a bilateral meeting with António Costa, President of the European Council. We reaffirmed our commitment to deepening cooperation between Ethiopia and the European Union across multiple areas.

ከፊንላንድ ፕሬዝደንት አሌክሳንደር ስተብ ጋር በቀጠናዊ፣ ባለብዙ ወገን ትብብር፣ እና በሁለትዮሽ ግንኙነት በትምህርት ፣ የአየር ንብረት ጥበቃ ሥራ እና በኢትዮጵያ በተከፈተው የኢኮኖሚ ምኅዳር ስላሉ የኢንቨስትመንት እድሎች ተወያይተናል። ውይይታችን የሁለትዮሽ ትስስራችንን እና የጋራ ጥቅም ትብብሮችን በማጠናከር ላይ ያለንን አቋም ያጠናከረም ነበር። Met with President Alexander Stubb of Finland for bilateral discussions on regional issues, multilateral cooperation, and bilateral cooperation in education, climate action, and investment opportunities in Ethiopia amid the country’s economic opening. The meeting reaffirmed our commitment to strengthen bilateral ties and advance mutually beneficial collaboration.

My address at the G20 Leaders’ Summit

ከቡድን 20 ጉባኤ ጎን የአቡዳቢ ልዑል አልጋ ወራሽ ሼክ ካሌድ ቢን መሃሙድ ቢን ዛይድ አልናህያን ጋር የመወያየት እድል አግኝተናል። ውይይታችን ስትራቴጂካዊ ትብብራችንን በማጠናከር ለበለጠ የጋራ ርምጃ እድሎችን መመልከት ላይ ያተኮረ ነበር። On the sidelines of the G20 Summit, I also had the honor of meeting with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The discussions focused on strengthening strategic partnerships and opportunities for collaboration.

ከአዲሱ የአፍሪካ ልማት ባንክ ፕሬዝደንት ዶክተር ሲዲ ኡልድ ታህ ጋር ተገናኝተን ተወያይተናል። ውይይታችን ባንኩ በመላው አፍሪካ አካታች እድገት እንዲኖር የሚያደርገውን ወሳኝ ሚና ያጠናከረ ነበር። It was a pleasure to sit down today with the new President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Sidi Ould Tah. Our discussion reinforced the vital role the Bank continues to play in advancing inclusive growth and opportunity across Africa.

በቡድን 20 ጉባኤ ጎን ለጎን ከIMF ዋና ዳይሬክተር ክሪስታሊና ጂኦርጂየቫ ጋር በአለም አቀፍ የኢኮኖሚ አዝማሚያዎች ፣ በሀገራችን የኢኮኖሚ ሪፎርም እንዲሁም ዘላቂ እና አካታች እድገትን ለመደገፍ ትብብራችንን ለማጠናከር ስላሉ እድሎች ላይ ተወያይተናል። ለIMF የዘለቀ ግንኙነት ምስጋናዬን እያቀረብኩ የጋራ ትኩረቶቻችንን ለመፈፀም መነሳታችንንም እገልጻለሁ። At the G20 Summit, I held a constructive bilateral meeting with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva during which we discussed global economic trends, our national economic reforms, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in support of sustainable and inclusive growth. I appreciate the IMF’s continued partnership and look forward to advancing our shared priorities.

በቡድን 20 አባል ሀገራት የመሪዎች ጉባኤ ዋዜማ የአስተናጋጃችን ሀገር ፕሬዝደንት ከሆኑት ሲሪል ራማፎሳ ጋር ተገናኝተናል። ታሪካዊው የጂ20 ጉባኤ በአፍሪካ ምድር እንደመሰናዳቱ በተለያዩ ጉዳዮች እንዲሁም በጉባኤው የአፍሪካ የወል ድምጽ እና የጋራ ፍላጎት የሚቀርብበትን ሁኔታ ተወያይተናል። On the eve of the G20 Leaders Summit, I met with our host, President Cyril Ramaphosa, to discuss a range of issues, including the importance of presenting a common Africa voice and shared priorities, especially as this historic G20 is being hosted on African soil.
