The edited version: Educational systems and models imposing segregation of schools have been around for centuries. Meanwhile, coeducation, where male and female learners can be equally and collectively trained for future life in a more realistic fashion, has also been an alternative in a number of countries. This essay spotlights these two existing policies and sizes up each by focusing on some of their capabilities and qualities. The first method helps students to focus on their main tasks. When there is no one from the opposite sex, there might be no attractions in class except the subject taught. Therefore, they do not have other concerns such as what to wear, and who to love. This enables them to pay more attention to the subject and learn the lesson more effectively. Therefore, they may get better scores. However, is academic achievement the only goal here? Are social skills not important? Studying with the other gender, students can improve their social skills from a very young age alongside their academic performance. This is because they get the chance to think about subjects that they may have to deal with in the future. For example, what should be a boy's reaction, when a girl does not have a seat? Or how can a person start mingling with a group of boys and girls? The need for such skills will inevitably arise in the future of students' lives which can easily be learned while studying at a mixed school. E-commerce had long been predicted to be the shape of things to come, and it actually came true. Online shopping- subsumed under this type of commerce- is booming as never before, so much so that it is expected to put every brick-and-mortar store out of business. This, despite the startling pace at which internet shopping is growing, seems to be too extreme a forecast. There is no denying the fact that the convenience of buying online is turning more and more people away from the traditional way. They can buy virtually every item they want at the touch of a button without experiencing difficulties such as traffic hold-ups or long hours of walk searching different shops. They might even purchase their needed articles at bargain prices because internet-based businesses have considerably lower overhead compared to traditional ones. All these features are discouraging more customers from making a purchase the old-fashioned way. However, this trend will never culminate in the closure of all retailers given the inherent shortcomings of online purchase. The first flaw associated with this method of shopping is phishing. With a rise in online shopping comes an increase in data breaches; this is why many shoppers are still indisposed to use these services. Unfortunately, not even a week goes by that we do not hear about cybercrime, and this type of crime will become rampant in the future. Apart from the perils, there are and will always be people who prefer to go to malls and shops simply because it is an enjoyable hobby for them or even a means of catharsis. The internet can never obviate these needs, at least for the foreseeable future, so traditional businesses may lose some custom but not all of it. After all, where there is a need, there is a service. Considering the popularity of cyber shopping and how convenient it can be, a future surge in this practice is not far-fetched.
