Comment from my side (svk): Personally I believe true friends are extremely rare indeed. Usually one can count them on one hand and one is lucky and blessed if one can count at least one true friend.
And then of course there are the most lucky and blessed of all, those who have been found by their Satguru, and once found, successfully never let go of His friendship...

Dashrath Manjhi β the man who moved a mountain. β°
Dashrath's wife was badly injured while crossing the mountain that separated their village from essential services. Because the journey around it was so long, she could not receive medical help in time β and she died.
Out of his grief came an extraordinary determination: no one else should suffer the same fate because of that mountain.
With nothing but a hammer and chisel, this poor labourer from Bihar spent 22 years cutting a road through the mountain β largely with his own hands.
No wealth. No machines. No powerful connections. Just love, pain transformed into purpose, and an almost unimaginable perseverance.
Sometimes one human being decides that the impossible simply has to become possible.
