01 Patriotic Alternative Yorkshire
On Saturday, a group of PA West Yorkshire activists were in Gildersome, Leeds, and posted around 300 leaflets in the area. It was a sunny afternoon, and many residents were outside enjoying their gardens. The community pub was bustling with people, and our leaflets were well-received.
One gentleman looked genuinely worried as one of our group approached his front gate and said ‘oh no, you’re not communists are you?’ Once we had explained our entirely coherent answer to what is going wrong with Britain, he was happy to chat about our community aims and values, thanked us for our time and efforts, taking a number of different leaflets that we had with us.
Our activists finished up with a well-deserved ice cold drink in a local pub, and look forward to our next session.

We’re not sure of the reason why yet. He’s going to find out more tomorrow. There’s a chance his category might change or he might be losing his “high risk” classification, or it could just be because he was on a remand wing and they need the space so they’ve moved him to his permanent place.
