Is combing hair permissible for one intending to offer Ud-hiyah? ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ If a Muslim wants to offer the sacrifice for oneself or their family, one must not trim the nails or cut the hair once the month of Dhul-Hijjah has started. As for using a comb, there is nothing wrong in this, but one must try to use it gently in a way that does not result in breaking off any hair. https://bit.ly/3fmhzoT ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ https://t.me/thebeginningoftruth

مصدر الفتوى درس فتح المجيد شرح كتاب_التوحيد / يوم الثلاثاء/ ١٥ - ربيع الأول - ١٤٤١ ﮪ Saying the Jews and Christians are not disbelievers because the message has not reached them | Shaykh Salih bin Fawzan al-Fawzan حفظه الله ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Question: May Allah treat you well O noble Shaykh, this questioner says: Some people do not deem the Jews and Christians as disbelievers and they do not believe they will be disbelievers, if they die upon that, nor will they enter the Hell-fire. Their argument is that Islam has not reached them and if it has reached them, the image has been distorted? Answer: This statement is false. The Quran has reached the East and the West. Prayer in Masjid Haraam is broadcast now across the world at all times. They watch the Muslims pray, they look at how they pray, this means the argument has reached them. Non-pilgrims who intend to sacrifice must avoid cutting hair and nails ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: When you see the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah, and one of you wants to offer an Ud-hiyah, let them refrain from (cutting anything) from their hair or nails Narrated by Abu Dawud which was also narrated by Muslim and Al-Nasa'y: Anyone who has an Ud-hiyah to slaughter, when the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah appears, should not remove anything from their hair or nails until they have offered the Ud-hiyah. It is clear that this Hadith applies only to a person who wants to offer the Ud-hiyah. As for a person on whose behalf the Ud-hiyah is being offered, whether old or young, they are not forbidden to remove anything from their hair, skin or nails, based on the basic principle, which is that these actions are permitted. We do not know of any evidence to the contrary. Taken from https://bit.ly/3hqCE3A ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ https://t.me/thebeginningoftruth

INVALID DEFENSIVE EXCUSES GIVEN BY MUSLIMS WHEN THEY COMMIT EVIL – SHAYKH UTHAYMEEN ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Question To Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah): Q: When a Muslim shows disapprove of evil (committed by) another person, he (i.e. the doer of the evil) replies to him saying, ‘’You are intrusive’’ or ‘’Do not interfere in that which does not concern you’’. Is this speech correct in such an instance and what should be the reply to (this person)? Answer: This speech of his is incorrect. To say to a person who disapproves of his evil that ‘’You are intrusive’’ or ‘’This is not your concern’’. This is not correct because Allaah (The Most High) commanded us forbid evil and enjoin good. It is obligatory upon us to enjoin good and forbid evil according to our ability, whether the one who is commanded or prohibited likes it or not. And he (i.e. the one who rejects the evil) should reply to him (saying), ‘’Indeed, this concerns me because Allaah has commanded me to enjoin good and forbid evil, and that is because the believer to another believer is like a solid building- one part supporting the other. So that which concerns a Muslim is a concern of his brother (i.e. in this instance). [Source: Al-Manaahiy Al-Laf-Dhiyyah’ Page 144] ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ https://t.me/thebeginningoftruth

The Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] Advised Mu’aadh [radiyallaahu anhu] to Make This Supplication Regularly at The End of The Prayer ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy It was reported from Abu ‘Abdur-Rahmaan Al-Hubli, from As-SunãbihI, from Mu’aadh bin Jabal, that the Messenger of Allah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] held his hand and said: “O Mu’aadh! I swear by Allah, I love you. I swear by Allah, I love you. I advise you, O Mu’aadh, that you never leave saying after every prayer: [اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ – O Allah! Help me in remembering You, thanking You, and perfecting my worship of You].” And Mu’aadh advised As-Sunaabihi with that, and As-Sunaabihi advised Abu ‘Abdur-Rahmaan with that. [Ref 1] Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz [rahimahullaah] says that it is better to supplicate with this supplication after the Tasha’hud and before the Tasleem, but there is no harm in doing so after the Tasleem. A SECRET BETWEEN THE SERVANT AND HIS LORD ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Verily, the fasting person can be alone in an uninhabited place and he is able to eat what Allāh has forbidden him from due to the fast, and he does not eat because he knows that he has a Lord Who sees him when alone. Allāh has forbidden him from this and he abandons it, fearing His punishment and desiring His reward. Due to this, Allāh rewards him for his sincerity, and He specifically singles out his fast for Himself from of the other actions. This is why He said: "He forsakes his food and his desires for My sake." Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Jamīl Zaynū: “O you who believe! Save yourselves and your families from the Hellfire.” [Sūrah al-Taḥrīm 66:6] Mothers, fathers, teachers, and the society as a whole, will all be accountable in front of Allāh about the tarbiyyah (education and upbringing) of this generation. If its tarbiyah is good, then there will be happiness - both in this world and the Hereafter. If it is not, then there will be misery, and it will be a rope around your necks - since there occurs in the ḥadīth: “Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you will be questioned about those who you are responsible for.” [1] But - O teachers - rejoice in the saying of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), who said: “By Allāh! That Allāh guides through you even a single person, is better for you than the most precious of camels.” [2] And - O parents - rejoice in the authentic ḥadīth: “When a person dies, his actions are terminated except for three; a recurring charity, or knowledge that he leaves which is benefited from, or a pious offspring who supplicates for him.” [3] So you must first of all reform yourselves, since good results from the good that you do, and bad results from the bad that you do. So good conduct from teachers and parents in front of the children is the best form of education and upbringing for them.” [4] Endnotes: [1] Related by al-Bukhārī (13/111) and Muslim (no. 1829) [2] Related by al-Bukhārī (7/57) and Muslim (no. 2406) [3] Related by Muslim (no. 1631) [4] Kayfa Nurabbee Awlādunaa (p. 2) of Shaykh Jamīl Zaynū ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ https://t.me/thebeginningoftruth

🌷 A Tremendous Dua! ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Bismillahi Wal Hamdullillah Was Salaatu Was Salaamu ‘Alaa Rasoolillah Indeed the meaningful duas of the Messenger – Sallallahu Alaihi Was Salam are many (and all of his supplications are meaningful) but the following is one many im sure will find relavant to our trying times Allahul Musta’aan Abu Hurairah – Radhiyallahu anhu said: From his (The Messenger of Allah – Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam) supplications was: “Oh Allah! The ruling on saying ‘Maa shaa' Allaah’ when the person sees something that impresses him | Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-'Uthaymeen رحمه الله ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Question: May Allah bless you. What is the subtlety in the statement ‘Maa shaa' Allaah Tabaraka Allah’ when seeing something that impresses you? Shaykh: The subtlety in that is so that the eye from the person looking does not harm what he is looking at. Because there could occur in the soul that which is not permissible, so when the person sees what impresses him and he fears the envying eye then he says ‘Maa shaa' Allaah Tabaraka Allah’, so he will not harm what he sees with eye. Likewise if the person sees what impresses him from his wealth then he says ‘Maa shaa' Allaah, there is no power except with Allah’; such he will not become impressed with himself, and become prideful within himself with the wealth that impressed him. Thus if he says ‘Maa shaa' Allaah, there is no power except for Allah’ then he entrust the affair to the One deserving it (Allah) the Blessed and Exalted, Yes. http://binothaimeen.net/content/11352 Translated by Rasheed ibn Estes Barbee ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ https://t.me/thebeginningoftruth

Advice for those who are lackadaisical and lazy performing their prayers ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ | Shaykh Abdul Aziz Āli Shaykh حفظه الله Question: The questioner requests direction and advice for the person who is lackadaisical and lazy performing the obligatory prayers, and the danger of this upon the religion of the person? Answer: There is no doubt that abandoning the prayer is disbelief. (Allah said) "What has caused you to enter Hell?" They will say, "We were not of those who prayed" (Soorah Al-Muddaththir 74:42-43) (And Allah said): Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up the prayers and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell. (Soorah Maryam 19:59) We ask Allah for safety and security. Look at the saying of Allāh's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنه): "Be acquainted with Allāh in times of ease and prosperity and He will be acquainted with you in times of adversity." (1) If you worship Allāh and you come close to Him in times of ease and prosperity and then you are afflicted with adversity and grief, surely Allāh Will relieve you and save you from that period of constriction and difficulty. From this is seen the obligation placed upon the fathers to cultivate and educate their children - the children will not be rectified except by taking the necessary measures. And the greatest of these measures is to provide a pious cultivation. So it is a duty upon the parents to cultivate their children upon the obedience of Allāh, and to raise them upon that until they become adults whilst still upon that obedience, and upon fondness and love for it and holding fast to it. However, if the parents disregard their duties towards their children and they are raised upon negligence and neglect and upon the fleeting impulses of youth, then they will be wasted away in society. For this reason, the call of the Prophets was to invite the children and offspring of their nations to Allāh's worship and to piety. An Affair Related to Basic Sexual Hygiene ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy Indeed, Allaah is not shy of [stating] the truth, do not approach your women [i.e. sexual intercourse with your wives] in their rectums.”  [Saheeh Al-Jaami Number 933, 934] Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [rahimahullaah] said: The rectum is a place of filth [i.e. the exit place of excrement]. _*Preventing Children from Fasting*_ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn (رحمه الله) said: There is an issue that I would like to highlight. Some parents prevent their children from fasting which contradicts the practice of the Companions Parents claim that they are being merciful and compassionate towards their children; however, encouraging them to execute the Islāmic laws is truly showing them compassion, for this is from true parenting and guardianship as this is from neutering them upon good morals. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *“Verily, the man is the guardian of the house and is responsible for his house.”* [Source: Majmū‘ Fatāwá wā Rasāʾil al-ʿUthaymīn, vol. 19, pg. 84.] - He (رحمه الله) also said: I advise parents to fear Allāh and to allow their children to fast. The Scholars say that parents or guardians must order their child to fast once they are able to do so. The Companions (رضي الله عنهم) would make their children fast, and if their children cried [due to hunger or thirst], they would give them a toy to play with until dusk arrived. This was the Salaf’s condition. Encouraging children to obey Allāh is being compassionate towards them. This is showing them true compassion since the Prophet (ﷺ) said: *“Order your children to pray when they reach the age of seven; however, discipline them at the age of ten [if they fail to perform it].”* [Source: منعها والدها من الصوم بعد بلوغها خوفا عليها فماذا يلزمها؟] Compiled and translated by Musa Shaleem Mohammed June 2018, June 2019 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ https://t.me/thebeginningoftruth
