Busara Championship is starting on 19 June 2021 at Goethe Institut. The event will mainly feature three games in one srage bringing young and talented players together on one court. The games that will be featured at the event will be Joteni (Foosball), Gebeta and Busara. Training will be provided for those who do not know how to play the games. The Ethiopian Poetry Slam will happen at Shifta Restaurant on 22 May 2021. The event will have contestants showcase their poetic works to pick the first Ethiopian national poetic champion to represent Ethiopia at the 2021 African Cup of Slam Poetry. Under the title 'Art of Less', On the grind presents a visual art exhibition by Milkyas Abdukerim experimenting with concepts of simplicity. As part of a Franco‑German collaboration, and with the aim of supporting the rise of alternative culture/arts in Ethiopia, the 3rd edition of the ON THE GRIND festival of 2021 is taking place all across Addis Ababa. The festival is organized by the Alliance Ethio-Française together with the Goethe-Institut and partners.
