An ally actively stands against ANY form of gender-based violence (የንቅናቄአችን አጋር የሆነ ሰው ማንኛውንም አይነት ፆታዊ ጥቃት ይቃወማል); An ally listens to women - not to respond but to understand (የንቅናቄአችን አጋር የሆነ ሰው ለመመለስ ሳይሆን ሴቶችን ለመረዳት ያዳምጣል); An ally is open to learn about women's lived experiences and to become part of the solution (የንቅናቄአችን አጋር የሆነ ሰው የሴቶችን ልምድ ለመረዳት እና የመፍትሄው አካል ለመሆን ዝግጁ ነው) An ally understand this is not a MAN VS. WOMAN issue. It is US against the patriarchal system of oppression (የንቅናቄአችን አጋር የሆነ ሰው ጥያቄአችን ወንዶችን ለማሳነስ የተሰነዘረ ሳይሆን አባታዊ ስርዓትን የመቃወም እንደሆነ ይረዳል) An ally believes men and women deserve equal rights and opportunities (የንቅናቄአችን አጋር የሆነ ሰው በፆታ እኩልነት ያምናል) The first step to being an ally is to recognise your privileges, and to speak out against sexism and discrimination (የንቅናቄአችን አጋር የመሆን አንዱ መገለጫ እኛ በማንነታችን የምናገኘውን/ ሌሎች በማንነታቸው የሚነፈጓቸውን ጥቅሞች መረዳትና መድሎን መቃወም ነው)

#AddisAbaba የ32 ዓመቷ ወጣት በፖሊስ ጥይት ከጀርባዋ ተመታ ህይወቷ ያለፈ ሲሆን ፖሊስ የድርጊቱ ፈፃሚ በቁጥጥር ስር ይገኛል ብሏል። በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ቂርቆስ ክፍለ ከተማ ወረዳ 11 ነዋሪ የሆነች የ32 አመት ወጣት ከፖሊስ አባል በተተኮሰ ጥይት ተመታ ህይወቷ አልፏል። በፖሊስ አባል ጥቃት የደረሰባት ኢየሩሳሌም አስራት የቂርቆስ ክፍለ ከተማ ነዋሪ ስትሆን ጥቃቱ ካጋጠማት በኋላ በጥቁር አንበሳ ሆስፒታል የቀዶ ጥገና እና ሕክምና ክትትል ሲደረግላት የነበረ ቢሆንም ህይወቷ ሊተርፍ አልቻለም። በቂርቆስ ክፍለ ከተማ ወረዳ 11 ቀበሌ 25 ህዳር 13 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም ከምሽቱ 5 ሰአት አካባቢ በወጣቷ ጓደኞች እና በሌሎች ሰዎች መካከል በተፈጠረ አለመግባባት  በቦታዉ የደረሰዉ የፖሊስ አባል በተተኮሰ  ጥይት ህይወቷ እንዳለፈ ተገልጿል። እየሩሳሌም አስራት #ከጀርባዋ በመመታቷ ነው ህይወቷ ያለፈው። ጉዳዩን በተመለከተ የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን የህዝብ ግንኙነት ዳይሬክተር  ምክትል ኮማንደር ማርቆስ ታደስ ፤ ወንጀሉን የፈፀመዉ የፖሊስ አባል በቁጥጥር ስር ዉሎ " ለምን እና በምን ሁኔታ ዉስጥ ሊተኩስ ቻለ ? " የሚለዉ ጉዳይ እየተጣራ ነው ብለዋል። ወደፊትም እንደ አስፈላጊነቱ የፍርድ ሂደቱ በመከታተል ለህዝብ ይፋ እንደሚያደርግ አሳውቀዋል። ይህ መረጃ ባለቤትነቱ የአሐዱ ሬድዮ ኤፍ ኤም 94.3 ነው። @tikvahethiopia
