We saw some nice moves in the market last week despite coming off a holiday weekend and uncertainty before FOMC. This week we will be monitoring reactions at key price levels to see if we will get some continuation or possible reversal. Watch for potential gaps in the market when we open, as that may put an interesting spin on things if we trade back into them later. Hello MindShifters welcome to a new trading week! First off Happy Easter weekend! Hope you all have had some time off to spend with your family and always good to take a break from the charts once in a while to reset/recharge. On Monday most banks will be observing the Easter Holiday, so we will probably see similar activity to what we saw on Friday (Good Friday) with very slow movement. We also have FOMC this week on Wednesday, so we will have to see how the market reacts to the release, and maybe looking at late volatility toward the end of Thursday or Friday. Watch out for more range-bound consolidation conditions and possible trap moves before the actual moves take place. I always advocate being selective in these times and try to resist the urge to swing for the fences...if you get your pips, make sure you get out with some profit 🙂 I'm happy to announce that we have now opened our April enrollment for the next Mindshift MasterClass! Admittedly NFP volatility has not really been very exciting in recent months/years, but it's still recommended to get your trades done earlier in the week so that you can relax and save yourself any stress! Hello MindShifters, welcome to a new trading week 😎 Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and getting ready to tackle the charts again! We are now almost to the end of February and slowly we are starting to see some pairs coming out of their consolidations. This week I will be looking for further continuation downside on USDX and it's possible we may see a big move lower if we are able to trade and close below the 90.00 big figure level. This would implicate a bullish continuation in EUR and GBP pairs, but since there are no significant economic drivers to push the markets this week, we may only see short term moves or maybe more consolidation before we go into the final week of the month. Keep in mind that we also have FOMC to watch for on Wednesday, and there's always a chance that the volatility can upset or completely change the outlook across the board if the moves are significant. As always trade with proper risk management and be smart & selective about the trades you take during this period in time. Apologies for the late upload, had to attend to some personal errands and I was not able to edit/upload until earlier 🙈 While it looks like we could have a slow start to the week, things may get interesting from Wednesday as the US will be inaugurating a new President! We can only speculate as what will happen to the Almighty Dollar longer term, but at the moment it seems that we are seeing a short term rally with more continued upside potential. I still advocate exercising caution when trading this week, because we are still in January and there's no need to rush into these markets so early into the new year.
