Hello MindShifters, welcome to a new trading week 😎 Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and getting ready to tackle the charts again! We are now almost to the end of February and slowly we are starting to see some pairs coming out of their consolidations. This week I will be looking for further continuation downside on USDX and it's possible we may see a big move lower if we are able to trade and close below the 90.00 big figure level. This would implicate a bullish continuation in EUR and GBP pairs, but since there are no significant economic drivers to push the markets this week, we may only see short term moves or maybe more consolidation before we go into the final week of the month. As we head into the final week for the month of January I will be paying close attention to the current monthly ranges and how we close going into the start of February. Keep in mind that we also have FOMC to watch for on Wednesday, and there's always a chance that the volatility can upset or completely change the outlook across the board if the moves are significant. As always trade with proper risk management and be smart & selective about the trades you take during this period in time. Apologies for the late upload, had to attend to some personal errands and I was not able to edit/upload until earlier 🙈 While it looks like we could have a slow start to the week, things may get interesting from Wednesday as the US will be inaugurating a new President! We can only speculate as what will happen to the Almighty Dollar longer term, but at the moment it seems that we are seeing a short term rally with more continued upside potential. I still advocate exercising caution when trading this week, because we are still in January and there's no need to rush into these markets so early into the new year. Hello MindShifters and Happy New Year! We are back and welcome to our first Sunday weekly Review of 2021! I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday break spending time with your family and loved ones 🙂 At FX MindShift we are looking forward to another new and prosperous year in Forex, so hope you guys are ready to conquer the charts with us all over again... let this be your breakout year! Just so everyone is on the same page... for us January is generally still a low volume trading period which usually sees more consolidation overall. While we are still doing analysis and observing market movements during this time, I would still advise everyone to be more selective and cautious with trading during this period. In addition there is also much uncertainty that remains regarding issues which have a great deal of influence on the markets. (i.e. Brexit, US elections, Covid-19, etc.) I know it may be tempting to just jump right back into the trades because we've kicked off the new year, but try to exercise more discipline during this time and just let these sequence of events unfold while the risk is still very high. Hello MindShifters welcome to a new trading week! My apologies for the late video... this week has been a whirlwind and keeping me super busy! Since we have started the MasterClass trainings I have been trying to balance everything in terms of scheduling, but its been a welcome challenge 🙂 Looking ahead at this week we have some high impact news to watch for on Thursday with EUR, which will be our "main event" Most of our watch pairs are coming off of some very big continuation moves from last week, so they are at critical areas to be watching for potential correction. We've seen the USDX slowly drift lower and continue its decline, so looking at the longer term perspective we would continue to expect lower prices until we see the big catalyst which sends it higher. I believe that the pending US election decision will still potentially carry a big surprise which can upset the market in unexpected ways....so I will continue to trade cautiously and reserved throughout the end of the quarter into the new year. Just a quick reminder that next week will be our last weekly review for the year, then we will take our holiday break until January 3rd.
