Our Buying Rules
To make you aware if we were purchasing metals today we would first log in to our Auvesta accounts and change our precious metals allocations to purchase 5️⃣0️⃣% gold/ 5️⃣0️⃣% silver because the ratio has dropped below 6️⃣0️⃣!
There is no exact science to this but these rules are what we stick to and it’s also down to personal preference!
If the gold/silver ratio is ever 8️⃣0️⃣ or above we purchase 100% silver, If the ratio went down to 6️⃣0️⃣ we would purchase 50% gold/50% silver and if the ratio ever got back down to a low of 4️⃣0️⃣, we would purchase 100% gold.

For customers with XL Tariffs, the Switch-Pilot activates twice a day (Monday - Friday) at 11am and 3pm German time (They have 2 chances in the same day to be able to switch).
It all depends on what the ratio was at precisely 11am or 3pm in the day. As you can see from the table above, the ratio’s at 11am and 3pm on Friday 28th November were above 7️⃣7️⃣ which was why their silver was not switched to gold. To re-iterate, the gold/silver ratio on Friday the 28th November did not drop down to below 7️⃣7️⃣ until later in the day, after the 3pm switching activation time!!
Hope this makes sense and will answer a lot of of questions.

| 9 |  🤔Understanding when your metals will switch 🤔
Many customers have previously set their Switch-Pilots to switch their silver to gold at a ratio of 7️⃣7️⃣ or below and have wondered why their metals did not switch on Friday 28th November as the ratio was at 7️⃣5️⃣ late afternoon (Well below the ratio of 7️⃣7️⃣).
Please check out the gold/silver ratio table above and you will see why the switches were not activated.
For customers with S, M or L Tariffs, the Switch-Pilot activates once a day (Monday - Friday) at 3pm German time. | 803 |

IMPORTANT NOTE!
It’s very important to always have atleast a 10 point gap between the ratio you purchased your metals at and the ratio you make your switch at to ensure after fee’s you have gained extra metals and you are in profit!
We also encourage all customers where possible to make use of their Switch-Pilot (Automatic switching) rather than manual switching as it is much more efficient, has cheaper switching fee’s and is a set and forget system.
Please note: To use the Switch-Pilot you MUST have a minimum of 2,000 euro’s worth of a metal for the automated switching to work.

| 11 |  🔥🔥SWITCHING ALERT🔥🔥
At 10am this morning we are excited to say we switched our silver to gold at a ratio of just over 7️⃣4️⃣ as we had our Switch-Pilot set to activate and switch at 7️⃣5️⃣ or below…
If you have purchased silver at any point in the past at the ratio of 8️⃣5️⃣ or above (which many customers have) or have previously switched your gold to silver at the ratio of 8️⃣5️⃣ or above, then there is a potential to profit and gain some free precious metals through switching that silver to gold today!
Our Switch-Pilot is set to switch this gold back to silver in the future at the ratio of 8️⃣5️⃣ or above (ensuring at least a 10 points difference) so we can gain even more free metals and profit further!
