Thank you everyone for coming to the first "bonfire" meet of 2026. Mark the date on your calendar for the next one. July 18th! Same location, Same times!

Also! If you are parking on the main canyon road outside the booth and parking lot. You NEED to be on the side OPPOSITE the booth that is facing DOWN the hill. Otherwise you will be towed without question.

Alright everyone! The bonfire happens in 40 minutes! While you are on your way remember it is the "spruces" turnoff roughly a mile past the bigger "donut falls" turnoff We provided a small video here about how to drive to the site past the parking booth. Follow the small signs for the group 8 site after paying for the parking. Simple instructions are that it's to the left of the entrance, Take the right fork. Then When you see the parking lot. Turn to the path on the right and that will take you to the smaller lot we are allowed to park.

We've received a few concerns about the status of the bonfire meet happening in 2 days, and how the ongoing "Cottonwood Fire" affects it. Good news! The wildfire is nowhere near our reserved site in Big Cottonwood Canyon and does not affect our reserved location. As of now, our bonfire is still scheduled to take place as planned this Saturday. We are monitoring fire restrictions for the site. Currently we are still allowed to have a fire within the designated in ground fire pit, which the admins will tend to. Should that restriction change, we will still have the meet, just without the fire. make sure to bring warm clothes for when the sun goes down! We also want to remind everyone that carpooling is highly encouraged! Parking at the site requires a fee of $10, unless you park outside the lot on the main canyon road, sharing rides will help save money and ensure everyone has a place to park up close! We can't wait to see everyone able to attend this weekend!

This year's bonfires will be held at Spruces Campground Group Site #8 in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The price is also slightly more this year due to site cost increase If you've attended our bonfires before, please make sure you're heading to the correct location. 🚗 Directions From I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel one mile east to Wasatch Boulevard. Take Wasatch Boulevard one mile south to the junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon / Highway 190. Turn left at the junction and continue up Big Cottonwood Canyon for approximately 9.7 miles to Spruces Campground. Not far past the Donut falls turnoff. We recommend arriving a little early if you have not visited the campground before. 🪑 What to Bring -Camp chairs or blankets -Food to share, drinks, and s'mores supplies -A jacket or warm clothing (it can get chilly after sunset) -Games, cards, or activities you'd like to share -Friends who may be interested in joining the community ⚠️ Site Rules everyone is expected to follow campground rules: 🔥 Fires must remain within the provided fire pit at all times. 🔊 No amplified music or speakers are permitted at the group site. 🐕 No dogs or other pets are allowed anywhere in Big Cottonwood Canyon due to watershed regulations. 🗑 Please clean up after yourself and help us leave the site cleaner than we found it. 🌲 Respect the campground, wildlife, other visitors, and surrounding environment. 🚫 No fireworks. 🚫 Do not damage trees, vegetation, campground facilities, or natural features. We want to be good stewards of the space and maintain a positive relationship with the campground. Before leaving, please help with cleanup and ensure no trash or belongings are left behind. We are so excited for this event, and we hope you are too! We wanted to give this reminder to everyone who signed up, or planning on attending! Who: All of you! Come in fursuit, or as you are and join in on the fun! Please be mindful of your limits in your fursuits. Fullsuiters and those with disabilities will get first priority on the trailer. When: Tomorrow, Sunday June 7th! We are asking everyone to arrive between 9:00 - 9:20 am. We cannot fully guarantee your participation in the parade if you arrive any later than this, so please plan accordingly! The use of carpooling and public transit are encouraged! Where: We are meeting around 37 S West Temple St., Salt Lake City, UT Payment: We are asking for everyone to pay $7 to be a part of the parade. Cash is the preferred option, but we will also have PayPal and Venmo QR codes for you to scan. Reminder: If you plan on going to Pridefest after the parade you will need to go to utahpride.org and purchase a ticket. Your payment to be in the parade does not give you access to Pridefest. 🌳⛰🔥 U2F2 2026 Monthly Bonfire Meetups 🔥⛰🌳 The weather is warming up and it's time once again for our monthly U2F2 bonfire gatherings starting THIS MONTH! 📍 LOCATION CHANGE!!!! ⚠️ Due to the site that we have used in previous years still being inaccessible, we will not be holding our bonfires in Millcreek Canyon as we have in previous years. This season, the bonfire meetups will be held at Spruces Campground site #8 in Big Cottonwood Canyon (link). If you have attended the bonfires before, please double check the event details before heading out, as the location is different from what you may be accustomed to. Come up to the new site for an evening of good company and various snacks or food to share! Whether you are a seasoned veteran or attending your first U2F2 event, everyone is welcome to come hang out and enjoy the evening. 💵CHANGES IN COSTS💵 With this site change, -there is no charge while exiting the canyon like previous years. -BUT there is a charge to park in the sites nearby parking lot. The charge is 10$ per car. 🏳️‍🌈PRIDE UPDATE!🏳️‍🌈 Hello again from the U2F2 Admin Team! About a month ago, we announced that we did not have access to the trailer we usually used and that we would need your help to find and secure a trailer that matches the size we need. Thanks to this community's efforts, we are pleased to announce that we have managed to secure access to a trailer, and we will be able to participate in this years Pride Parade. We will be creating event page on our website very soon. We want to thank you all for your concern and assistance during that uncertain period. That being said, because our entry in the parade was submitted later than we usually submit, it is time to prepare quickly.
