One year ago, the month of October was buzzing with excitement. 10/08 and 10/16 mark one year since the momentous celebration of Akshardham Grand Opening, and Mahant Swami Maharaj's visit to Edison respectively. This Sunday, we are having a special sabha to commemorate these milestones and to relive our time spent with Swamishri last year. 🛕 In 1984, Pramukh Swami Maharaj had a vision for a North American Akshardham. 🙏🏾 In 2014, at the age of 92, Pramukh Swami Maharaj performed the ground-breaking ceremony at the site where Akshardham stands today. 🎇 On October 8th 2023, one year ago, Mahant Swami Maharaj performed the final murti pratishtha at Robbinsville Akshardham, consecrating the murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami in the main shrine. ✉️ In a letter that Mahant Swami Maharaj wrote, he shared that Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s sankalp had finally come to fruition. He also emphasized that the same Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Aksharbrahma present in God’s abode is the same present here in Robbinsville Akshardham. Today, as we reflect on the one-year anniversary of Akshardham mahotsav, let's take some time out to look back on the smrutis we made in the past year.
