Jay Swãminãrãyan! Big Reminder 🚨: Tomorrow will be our Career Fair as stated in the flyer above. We will begin at 9 am SHARP so everyone please plan accordingly. Dress code and other information for tomorrow is listed in the flyer. Please keep in mind that this will be our sabha for the weekend so both Saturday and Sunday kishores MUST attend tomorrow on time! Hope to see everyone looking fresh tomorrow! 🙏🏽

A MUST watch for ALL Kishores: What Pramukh Swami Maharaj says regarding Navratri!

On Kishore-Kishori Din, Mahant Swami Maharaj explained how we are Akshar muktos. We are beyond the realms of kāl, māyā, etc because we have met Bhagwan and the Sant. As such, we must remain firm in our Dharma, in our "protocol". Navratri and Garba at outside events are below our Dharma standard, and bring us away from God. We must take great care to not fall prey to this. For us, Navratri events are starting at this time of the year. Remember this āshirvād from Swamishri and remain strong! Think about what Swamishri's āgnā for us is, and what our correct Dharma is. We are 🦁, not 🐑!

Vedh has begun!

Lunar Eclipse Reminder A lunar eclipse is taking place on Tuesday, September 17, with the Vedh starting at 1:12pm. Please follow these guidelines for the Northeast: Before Eclipse (Vedh) – 1:12pm-10:12pm • Only water, no food • Activities as normal • The elderly, disabled, and children should begin fasting at 6:12pm (4 hours prior to the eclipse) • Thakorji can only be offered a plate of pure food (milk, curd, banana plant, or coconut water) During the Eclipse (Grahan) – 10:12pm-11:15pm • No water, no food • Sit in one spot for bhakti, katha, or satsang reading • Please refrain from offering anything to Thakorji in your ghar mandir during the eclipse. Offer thal after the eclipse ends. After the Eclipse • Shower with your clothes on and wash any cloth you touched during the eclipse • Offer a full thaal to Thakorji once the eclipse has ended Sanatan Dharma Teachings Bhagwan Swaminarayan (Shikshapatri Shloka 86): “At the time of a solar or lunar eclipse, one should stop all activities and chant the mantra of God in a purified state.” Mahant Swami Maharaj (Satsang Diksha 266): “When the eclipse is over, all should bathe and soak the clothes they are wearing. Renunciants should perform puja, and householders should give donations.”

We are so fortunate to have a guru who is beyond the bounds of this world. He has come, and he remains, only for us — his haribhakto.
