Hide Your Own Faults and Sins By Ibn Abdul Barr Ibn Abdul Barr رحمه الله تعالى stated, "An Individual exposing what he may engage in from contemptible impermissible actions is a type of stupidity which no one does except someone who is demented. Likewise, it is not characteristic of those who have intellects to expose what they have done in transgressing the boundaries (i.e.impermissible deeds). Rather, what is characteristic of them is to hide their shameful actions and repent from their sins.
